We liked the fact the carvings were displayed in the city and could see them around town. Didn’t get to some in the outlying streets. Very impressed with the imagination of the artists.

Chetwynd, B.C. is the town for the International Chainsaw Carving held annually 2nd weekend of June. They carvings are scattered throughout the community. The visitor center can provide you with a map listing all the carvings, it's location etc. If you can visit during that time, it would be an experience. They have over 200 carvings in the community all along the highways & streets. Fun day walking & driving around looking at all the artwork.

Charming town with lots of chainsaw carvings around it. Worth to stop and see, but I guess you need to make many stops as the statues are all over the town and all of them are interesting to see.
