Beautiful setting. A charming older house turned into a hostel. The room was comfortable. The outside surroundings serene. Very clean and just enough out of " the way" to be peaceful.

This place is amazing. The owner is so sweet. She made us homemade muffin for breakfast. The room was great. We had a good time. You can see the sunrise and the water from the house. I recommend.

What a lovely place owned by a lovely couple. It is an old house in somewhat of a rural area so do expect some critters, and that's part of the charm if you ask me!I have a capricious back and slept very well too: absolute silence

My wedding party stayed at the hotel the week of my wedding. Sharon was wonderful and so hospitable. Adorable old hotel with beautiful views of the bay and a nice porch to sit and take it all in, so serene. The girls got ready in the sitting room the day of my wedding. Lots of space and great lighting for the photographer. My wedding party is already planning their trips back, they had nothing but good things to say about this place.

From our one night stay, I can safely say that it was a roadtripper's dream come true to come across this beautiful old building on our travels. We were greeted with lovely service and essentially full reign of the house during our stay. It was like being welcomed as a guest into an old friend's cottage for an escape on the water. Comfortable beds, clean sheets, private rooms, a beautiful view and a well stocked kitchen (not to mention pretty speedy wifi for the location). We awoke the next morning to hearty serving of homemade blueberry pancakes, eggs and coffee for breakfast before we moved on. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Staying at pleasantview hostel was great. I felt very welcome by Sharon, as if I was part of the family. I wasn't expecting that much, I had a private room, clean bed sheets, and towel. Location is good as it is located about in between St-john, Moncton and Fredericton. Therefore, you can stay there and have your pick for visiting. Hacket point town is quiet, perfect for a good sleep. If you have any special request, you can ask Sharon, and she'll do her best to help you with it.

The value for money at PleasantView is incredible! The home is beautifully decorated, with the curtains, wallpaper, and rugs all matching. this gives the home a magnificent, swirly geometry which i found to be quite psychedelic and artful. the breakfast was also delicious

Loved our visit at the Pleasant View. The owners are so welcoming and kind. We were grateful for their helpful tips on where to get great local seafood. I’ve never stayed in a house with such character and charm! Thanks for the great experience!
