Hands down, Norm was the most unpleasant driver we have ever encountered. He has no business interacting with guests. I was traveling with some friends who had never been to Victoria. He chose to talk about the most bizarre topics like what he ate at a restaurant or about a hundred year old architect rather than any current points of interest. When we were close to Chinatown, churches, and other interesting or historic places, he mentioned NOTHING. Rather than talk about the beautiful harbor, he yammered on about one of the ships and said it was just as expensive as the Empress. Huge disappointment. Halfway to the gardens, I looked around and noticed most of the guests had their eyes closed because they appeared bored of listening to his monotoned voice and dull presentation. As we neared the gardens, I WHISPERED to my companions that since I had Canadian currency, I would take care of his tip from all of us. At that point, Norm erupted, stating that he could hear somebody talking, which meant that a person was talking louder than him and not letting the other people hear what he had to say. He proceeded to lecture for what seemed like an eternity about the riders not talking when he's talking. Absolutely insulting. Completely uncalled for. It went on and on. As he was spewing his verbal abuse, I placed the tip money back into my wallet. Unfortunately, we also had Norm on the return, and he was spouting the same useless information. When we got closer to the Empress Hotel, he started begging for a tip by saying that he collected Canadian and US currency serial numbers and could the riders help him out. Absolutely not! I was so embarrassed for my friends because this was their first impression of Victoria. He bragged that he had been driving for 13 years. How many other people during that time has he treated this way over the years that never said anything? Pathetic. Up to the writing of this review, I have been unable to speak with a manager about this employee. I would be glad to share additional information, including date and times, as well as some more personal observations of this employee. Please leave any contact information in the response, which I hope will be coming soon. Thank you.

Had a wonderful tour with driver Ed, so kind and charming. He really knows the city! And the ticket seller, Webber, was so helpful with advice at the kiosk. I recommend CVS tours for anyone.

Excellent tour to Butchart Gardens. Our driver Leroy was professional, knowledgeable and informative. The bus was comfortable and clean.
CVS and Leroy made our visit to Victoria a memorable experience. I would definitely use this company again. James and Cynthia Portland, Oregon.

Best. Tour. EVER. It all started with Brian (we called him "Uncle Irv" since he was a twin-not-twin to my fabulous uncle-in-law), our driver, picking us up at the ferry. The ride into Victoria was jam-packed with anecdotes and information so we pleaded with him to do whatever it took to be our driver for our Tour the following day and what do you know... there he was!

To say "Uncle Irv" is knowledgeable about Victoria is an understatement. To say he is personable, equally so. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and strongly recommend not only booking with CVS Tours, but requesting Brian as your driver. You'll come away with an education and great memories of your day! 10 stars out of 5!!

Loved the tour! We had an excellent driver, very charming gentleman named Adrian. He was knowledgable about local history, gave us a quick tour of downtown, as well as pointing out local hot spots. Very down to earth and extremely patient even though some passengers were unnecessarily/ a bit rude. Adrian remained just as helpful and cool as a cucumber! Very hospitable too! I will definitely take the tour on my next trip! Thank you so much for a lovely time and tou .

My first time to Victoria, and my boss recommended I take the CVS tour. It was FANTASTIC! Blake (bus driver and tour guide) was AMAZING! I was the only person on a Wed morning tour, but Blake took lots of time with me, showing me so many points of interest (and BEAUTIFUL locations). Could NOT have asked for a better "introduction" to Victoria. Highly, highly recommend!

Our flight into Victoria was canceled and we had to call and let CVS know we weren't going to make our tour bus to Butchart Gardens (which left about an hour later). Customer service was exceptional and refunded our money, no questions asked.
