A Rocha Nature Centre in Houston is an amazing place to see salmon fry with many interactive activities for kids. Their staff is so welcoming and helpful. I’m looking forward to visiting again.

A surprising little gem tucked away just off the highway. Bring your lunch and eat by the pond. Enjoy the displays. Our favorite was a computerized sand table that allows you to rain on the topography to see how watersheds work. Open for class and group programs on a wide variety of topics. Fish from the hatchery will be visible certain times of the year. All this and admission is by donation. The curious won't be disappointed.

This place is really interesting. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our time here. If yiu are stopping in, make sure to bring cash for donation!
