This resort is stunning both at night and during the day!!! I would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone. The building has beautiful architecture and is rich with history. It feels like you are taking a step back through time in parts of the building, with a few modern pieces mixed in. If you walk around you’ll find that the walls are lined with touches of family history about this building. If you want to know more just ask the staff and they will happily give you a tour! The staff were incredibly welcoming and even made delicious fresh smoothies for us in the morning! This resort is perfect for couples but I could also see this being great for a solo get away, especially for someone who loves a historical building.

We had a pleasure of staying at this beautiful property over the long weekend.
From the moment you enter, Stephen, the owner of the Inn takes utmost care of you and your comfort.
The rooms are so clean and tidy, and our breakfast was served with so much love.
The fireplace with the choice of drinks was just amazing at night.
Loved the cozy and welcoming ambience, cannot wait to come back again. Thank you so much Stephen!!!

Attended a wedding and it was beautiful. The ceremony site was lovely, and plenty of room for all the guests. The reception area was quaint but temperature controlled and very comfortable. Bathrooms close by, excellent bar service, the food was 10/10 delicious. All the staff were lovely and friendly. If I was getting married I would want to book here, it was truly lovely. My only mild suggestion is to keep a tip jar visible for staff. Even for all inclusive events, sometimes guests like to tip. I would highly recommend this venue.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Stevenson Inn and Spa, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making our stay comfortable from the moment we arrived. The inn itself is a beautiful, historic building with a charming, old-world ambiance that you can't find just anywhere.

The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was spending the evening by the fireplace, sipping wine, and enjoying the company of other guests. It's the kind of place where you can unwind and feel completely at ease.

Overall, our night at Stevenson Inn and Spa was memorable, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and enchanting retreat.

My daughter and I enjoyed a Mother Daughter weekend at this lovely B&B along with the Spa services offered. Our room was the Elspeth Milne Room (queen bed) large bathroom with claw tub and toilet in a separate water closet. The decor of the home is old, antique and heritage. It’s like a museum. Stephen and Sue (owners) were amazing and ready to meet your any need. The grounds are lovely to walk and you are minutes from downtown Alliston. We will definitely be going back. I highly recommend staying at Stevensons Inn & Spa!

This is a grand old house in the midst of farmland (just "around the corner" from my brother's farm. |I found their hospitality was very genuine and the entire place was immaculate. In fact, I was satisfied able to worry free walk in my bare feet!|The bed linens are top notch and bed/pillows were very comfy. A small TV, just enough for news, and window AC. |No shower (I had an en suite room). Instead I had a classic cast iron tub on legs, just like the first bath I remember from childhood.|Breakfast was delightful, good coffee, lots of healthy stuff to eat. |They have an unbelievable list of wines and even more so Scotches.|I came back to my room around 9 to see a nice campfire on the go and decided to go sit, visit and watch with a very nice glass of red. I REALLY enjoyed the people around the fire. It was a bug free night and I ended up staying at the fire until around 2, long after everyone went to bed! Then quietly crept upstairs to a sound, very peaceful and refreshing sleep.|In winter and inclement weather, the BnB has a grand huge room off the thoroughly stocked bar.|Looking forward to my next visit to Alliston/New Tecumseh/Innisfil.|There's good and fairly reliable DCFC for my EV at the 400 highway Cookstown exit (Flo and PetroCan - both sides of the 400). This is a grand old house. Family business. I stayed in the room with ensuite cast iron bathtub hand held shower. Room so clean I was comfortable barefoot.
Incredible wine list and apparently even more so Scotches. Breakfast yummy. Stayed at campfire until almost 2am then quietly back to my room.
Wish they had EV charging, not a big deal lots of DCFCers at Cookstown and 400.
Will definitely be back!

My partner and I went for spa services. We both received massages and they were disappointing to say the least. We asked multiple times for more pressure but received nothing just a very light body rub. I booked at Stevenson spa under the assumption that they had experience as professionals. I never really got fully relaxed. Afterwards we seem to be both covered in oil on some parts of our bodies to the point where our clothes got stained. We were both automatically charged 15% gratuity. However nowhere on the website does it mention that under the service itself or anywhere else for that matter nor did it say it on the emailed balance owing / invoice. In addition to that it took almost a half an hour for us to get cashed out with no other guests in the spa. The entire experience was very unsatisfactory. The location is beautiful as well as the building however the services I don't believe are spa level services. They sent me an automated email asking for my review. I was very transparent and waited a week for a response however did not receive one. And that is why I am writing one here.

After reviewing your response I am even more disappointed. It sounds like you are dismissing/justify all of the concerns I had. I made the review through your booking platform I'm not sure the name. I do understand the difference between a relaxing massage and a deep tissue massage. I know I was not looking for deep tissue pressure. As they tend to hurt too much. We both have received many relaxing massages in the past from different spas and clinics and I can strongly state that I have never experienced this before.

As for the length of time to cash out and the auto gratuity. I did book it as a couples massage and then asked if the bill could be split. The staff members said no problem. The entire thing should never have taken almost a half an hour. I was originally charged a booking fee of $57 which was credited back to me at that time. Regardless of the discount of 10% which I was pleased to take. We both billed gratuity. You are correct there is a sign there in small print which most people wouldn't even see until they're ready to cash out and let's be honest at that point it's too late. And as I mentioned before it is nowhere on your website or on the invoice that I got with the balance owing or in the actual service when I went to book the couples massage. What happened was the staff billed me twice I tapped my credit card in addition to the staff member selecting to automatic bill credit card on the computer. Thankfully I did receive my refund. Charging gratuity for a couples massage is very strange. In future when you want to discuss things with clients based on a review I suggest just asking them to email or call you instead of trying to discredit everything they said prior to saying reach out to us.
