We highly recommend this motel! We arrived to be heartily greeted by the owners Michelle and Ryan. This place is clean, rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Owner Michelle went way out of her way to make us plant-based vegan meals that were absolutely delicious. They also supply a small breakfast table with a toaster, tea kettle and coffee maker along with tea bags, water, peanut butter and jam packets. The Canada Day fireworks were excellent too. To top it all off, Sandbanks Provincial Park is right next door with its multiple lovely beaches and amazing trails.

Very bad experience. Stay away as the woman who runs this place is extremely rude. Have family and friends in Burgeo, and they know about her. If you need a relaxing vacation, this is not the place. The place is not clean, and ved is terrible. Never again, as tgere are other options in Burgeo.

This place was perfect for my needs. Owner was attentive and sincere, room was clean and comfortable, shower was super, cost was affordable, internet was excellent, I watched the televised hockey game I wished to see, common areas were cute and well cared for… all in an isolated Newfoundland outport no less (where such services are often difficult to obtain). Thanks so much.

What a pleasant stay. The owner is exceptional. Very accomdaing. They opened the restaurant to make breakfast for us. The food was excellent. I would strongly recommend this place.

Beautiful view of the ocean, the service is amazing. The owner served us even when she wasn't open. I can say she was the nicest woman ever..
We have been there 3 times in one week, and are planning on going back before we go back to Calgary.
The food is absolutely delicious I would suggest the classic breakfast and my husband would say the omelette is delicious. I also had a hamburger with pork on it. Omg I suggest that because it melts in your mouth.

The worst stay ever. This motel has been in the community for many years and has always been a good stay. If you stayed there before THIS IS NOT THE SAME PLACE. Since 2020 the place as gone down hill and the current owner who took over from her father in 2022 is atrocious. The motel is now run down, dirty, unkept and cold. The ower is no where to be seen, and when contacted rude, curt and paranoid. I got kicked out of the hotel at night randomly while the owner accused me of outrageous things all while she smoked in the halls and threatened me. The restraunt is never open and I found out it in November it was closed due to unsanitary conditions. I live on the island and frequent the community often. I know several other guests who have been through similar situations now. If you want to risk being kicked out and having nowhere to go then book. Otherwise plan other accommodations.

New owners, not the same as it was. The absolute worst customer service. The place is dirty, cold and the people running it are scary. The place is not being maintained anymore and becoming run down. So sad to see as this place used to be wonderful. Highly recommend not risking a stay here even if it is the only option as there is a chance you will get kicked out, she will not show up with your keys or you have to leave because the standards are soo low. I didn't heed the warnings and ended up getting threatened, kicked out at 9pm and blamed for her frozen pipes that burst. Luckily I have family in town as back up. Also if you are expecting the restaurant to be open...it may be and may not be.
