If you are travelling between Toronto and Ottawa this is a great place to stop for kids and adults alike. Great to stretch and get some fresh air. Relaxing to sit near the lake. Parking is free. Gas station nearby. Washrooms were clean whenever we visited. Playground has many activities. Not sure if lake is open for swimming.

Discovered this hidden gem "Tweed Memorial Park" while en route from Ottawa to Toronto. A delightful stopover spot! Boasts a variety of new rides that'll thrill the kids, impeccably clean restroom facilities, convenient food benches, ample parking, and picturesque lake views. This charming park is conveniently adjacent to the Park Place Motel, and just across the road lies a Subway where you can savor delectable sandwiches, all while having the convenience of an Esso Gas Station nearby. A must-visit recommendation for sure!

Great park right on the water with a splash pad and kids playground. Washroom building is good. Chip truck on site. Atv friendly which is great, drive right up. Parking lot fills up fast. Good spot

Got into this place coincidentally while on the way back to Toronto from Ottawa. Such a nice place for a stop over. Lot of new rides for the kids, have nice and neat washroom, have benches for food , lot of parking spots and also a nice lake view. Highly recommended!!

Great rest stop along your journey. Lots of parking, clean public restrooms and a chip wagon. There is even a nearby playground for your little ones to stretch their legs and get their silliess out.

We used the boat launch there, again. Lots of room to maneuver your boat. Cement ramp and then cement blocks and then a large dock to finish the job. Lots of fish (I saved them for everyone). Fish or hunt there. I should have had my gun for the geese. Nice cottages and homes on the lake. Not too many days left to enjoy it.

Nice dog friendly park with a cool stage. Swimming was closed but we wouldn't have swam anyways.
