Both of our dogs completed a board and train program at Island Dog Lodge.
Right from the start we felt that we had picked the best spot for our dogs. After both dogs completed a three week program tailored to their specific needs and training requirements, we're convinced sending them for this training was the best thing we could have done for them.
The changes in their behaviors, manners, and confidence are beyond our expectations. Being able to follow our dogs training and progress through their Facebook stories was reassuring and allowed us to see the great progress they were making under the trainer's care.
Tracie and the team at Island Dog Lodge truly care about the animals in their care. We're thankful for all their hard work and dedication.

Our dog is 6 years old and has never had training and has never been to a doggy daycare/lodge until we decided to enroll him in the 2 week board and train program at Island Dog Lodge. I was hesitant about enrolling him because of his age and breed, but I had nothing to worry about as it was such a positive experience. The staff are phenomenal and are extremely knowledgeable and not only work with the dogs but also help the owners going forward so that what was taught isn't lost. Also, their social media makes is easier on all the dog moms/dads because we get to see pictures/videos of our pets learning and having a great time. I highly recommend Island Dog Lodge.

We used their daycare and boarding service during our trip to Cape Breton. Setting up an account and booking our dog in for orientation and her subsequent visits was very easy. The staff were very friendly, and the facilities are great! We checked out the cameras from time to time and could see our dog playing and relaxing comfortably. We were happy to find a place to accommodate her on relatively short notice, and we got to have a worry-free time at my cousin's wedding!

We love ❤️🐾 Island Dog Lodge! We started out with daycare and continued on to daycare and a few nights of overnight lodging. Before our dog came home we ordered a bath and tidy and she looked so pretty when she came home. While our dog is still a puppy I appreciated that she was not put in with all the older dogs. She gets overwhelmed sometimes and I appreciated coming to get her and she was resting in her crate because the staff knew she was overwhelmed. We love the videos each day, the snack menu and every staff member has been helpful caring and engaging. We will continue to take our dog to Island Dog Lodge!

Great spot. We had three of our dogs stay here for the weekend. Our dogs had lots of exercise because they were some tired. They were out in the activity yard when we arrived which was great to see. Staff were very friendly and comfortable with the dogs. Secure setup and yard had lots of things to play on. Highly recommend.

We take Mira (12 year old Maltipoo) to the Island Dog Lodge's boarding and daycare service 2-3 times a year when we are out of town. Mira is treated very well and is happy to go there. This makes our trips more relaxing as we know Mira is being looked after.

We love the Lodge! Tracey and her staff are amazing and truly love what they do. We've been bringing our dog to the Lodge since they opened. Our dog gets so exciting going there and always comes home exhausted and happy. We also use them for grooming and our boy always looks handsome leaving there.

Best doggie lodge ever!! Tracie and her staff go above and beyond for our girls Abbi, Lexie and Rosie. Our girls have spent days and nights at the lodge since they opened and I know they are treated just like they are home, lots of cuddles, exercise and socialization ( and treats! ). I cannot give a high enough recommendation for this amazing home away from home for my babies. We love the staff and the lodge!
