I can't believe that it took me so long to discover this amazing winery restaurant where I had the best pizza ever and a delightful dessert! Great pastas also available. Service was excellent and we had the pleasure of chatting with one of the owners. Location is scenic with a well shaded dining patio overlooking vineyards, as well as indoor seating for rainy or windy days. I am already booking a return visit with more friends. The secret of this hidden gem is out!

Ridgepoint winery and Restaurant today cooked us one of their best pizzas ever!! We have been going there for years as it’s local and we have always loved their food. While menu is limited but still with pasta dish and a couple of pizza selections and salad, it’s always been top notch delicious no matter our choice. Stephen was always the chef but he left a little while back. WELL today Nash was the chef and his white vegetarian pizza knocked it out of the park!!! Will be going bank again very soon for another. Avril and Susan who are there to look after you are just fun and personable. Mauro is the owner is lovely. They could certainly add a bit of ambiance with flower pots or string lites in the outdoor area, but that won’t stop us going there for their delicious dishes. We walked in as a party of 6, 4 adults and 2 kids. The place had a few customers sitting but by no means was super busy. Without greeting, we were asked if we had a reservation. When we said no, we were told they would check if they had room but we couldn’t eat outside on the patio. We hadn’t asked but the stern tone was unexpected. Then we were sternly told to wait at the front, close the dinning room door, and get out of the way.

It immediately seemed like we were unwelcome and causing them trouble. The tone and unwelcome staff was enough to turn us on our heels.

We live just down the road and were showing our house guests our beautiful and, usually friendly, neighbourhood. I was so embarrassed by their rude attitude. I hope this improves.

Went as a party of 6 on June 22, 2024. We were told that the cook didn't want to do much so order just a few small things to share on the patio. We ordered 2 pastas, a Flatbread, and a pizza and it took nearly an hour for the food to arrive. We wanted to have a tasting on the patio while we waited and were told we can't do that and we will have to come inside to do it after we eat, but after our food came an hour later they served a tasting to a group of 2 that just arrived. We ordered a total of 3 glasses of wine with our lunch between the 6 of us. When we went to pay the servers argued with us and said they can't split the bill and they have to apply an automatic gratuity (28% tip) since we were a large party, but they refused to serve us flights on the patio and didn't want to feed us. Also the large tip amount is not disclosed by the server ahead of time, nor printed on the menu or boards. The server was not attentive and was very rude and didn't want to be there. Our food and drink total was $134, but with their mandatory tip and tax on top it pushed $200. Not worth the price, wine was decent but the service was bad and they didn't earn any tip let alone 28%. Will never return and suggest the staff receive better training.

My wife and I stopped in to enjoy a glass of wine. We ended up sitting out on the patio and ordered a charcuterie plate. We enjoyed our glass of wine and the plate. We had an opportunity to meet the owner (Mauro) who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine he serves. We also had an opportunity to meet the chef. The charcuterie plate and the wine that was chosen for us went together so pleasantly. Thanks for the greeting

Had a great experience here. Sampled some excellent wines and went home with about a dozen bottles. Especially enjoyed the Nebbiolo and the Sangiovese. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the pizza!
This has become one of our go-to places every time we’re in the area.

Look forward to going back in the summer for a tasting as we got there too late. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the restaurant portion is still closed but looks like a great little spot to have something to eat with wine.

First visit to Ridgepoint and must post as throughly enjoyed. Late day lunch and the food was to die for!!! Bubbly and wines phenomenal and couldn't leave without a few in tow. Will be back!!!
