Lock 4 du Canal de Shubenacadie est un véritable joyau caché pour les amoureux de la nature. Il convient aux enfants et est un excellent endroit pour profiter d'une promenade paisible tout en admirant la vue sur l'eau. Les visiteurs peuvent également apercevoir des poissons et des canards dans l'eau. Malgré sa petite taille, l'endroit est très bien entretenu et il n'y a pas beaucoup de débris. La meilleure façon de profiter pleinement de Lock 4 est sans aucun doute lors des saisons de transition.

Really a small little walk way but very peaceful to sit and stare into the water. Not an ugly amount of litter present and fish and ducks are plenty. Best when the seasons are changing.

Great little experience. Very short trail between two streets. Bubbling river/brook.

Small dock to dip your feet in the water. Two bridges, the kids enjoyed throwing rocks in the water.

Trail was well used by casual strollers, joggers and dog walkers. Two garbage cans on either end of the trail entry's.

River is bordered by private home owners and by the amount of no trespassing signs we saw they do not entertain anyone leaving the trails.

Very short, hard to find trail. It is across the street at the end of High Rd or at the end of Fletchers Dr. There is not much there, but it is a very calming place with a bench, bridge, a dock on the water, and a beautiful example of a historical lock from the Shubie canal.

It was great and beautiful.. A little hard to find.. Its just on Fletcher rd.. The lil patch the fourth lock is on is called McNabb's Walk Bridge.. Beautiful there though..

Another continuing effort to preserve and celebrate the historic locks along the canal. This park, while tiny, is a thoughtfully developed destination, with a wharf for prospective waders, a series of small paths along and around the lock's bygone greatness, and perhaps best of all, a pedestrian bridge, which serves as the only link between the communities of Fletcher Drive and Lockview. Kudos to the Canal Commission for building yet another beautiful spot.
