Worth the trip! This Campground is awesome. The views are spectacular (especially during the sunset), the park itself is very nice surrounded by lakes. Just be careful of LEECH. It also has a lot activities like playgrounds and a basketball court.

We stayed in Yurts and they were clean, it's just that some windows are not working. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Just note that the Bathrooms within the park doesn't have a running water, you need to go to a spot in the middle of the Campground if you want a modern bathroom and a shower. Which is a little bit far from where the Yurts are. You need coins for the shower to work ($1 for a 3 minute shower).

Beautiful lake with little rock islands. The restrooms are new and spotless clean. dog beach. Lots of picnic areas. Lodge to eat out. Cosy place to hear the birds sing and relax. Many little beaches.

I am in paint lake right now been 5 days and love it. Beautiful place and worth the drive, the Marina restaurant has amazing fries!! The campground as very clean showers and bathrooms, it is very quiet. Lots of beaches (including a dog beach) and places for kids to play in, sites are very private which I like. The lakes around here are beautiful to fish and kayak (went to Mid Lake, Paint Lake and Ospwagon Lake). You are 30 min fm Thompson and 40ish min fm Pisew Falls. Right now there is a water advisory but you just need to boil it) which is the only downside so far (which no big deal at all). I went check to Lakeview (5 to 10 min fm Paint Lake campground same park) it has no electricity but you are right on the water if that is what you are looking for.

The "lakeview" campground had a gorgeous view, plenty of privacy from your neighbors and the non-modern toilets were clean and well kept. A fair warning though, the mosquitos were atrocious.

I mostly just used my time here as a parking pad to sleep for a night. There will definitely be a next time though and I'll have to spend more time exploring the park and make a point to visit the restaurant.

Wow this was well worth the drive from Winnipeg!! Lakeview camp site area is where we stayed and I loved how quiet it was when we went. It was late summer so it wasn’t too busy. Slightly chilly but non the less a treat

The air and water are so clean here. Very picturesque scenery. If you're headed up to Thompson, should definitely come out and see what there is to see.

Helpful campground attendant. The park was very small, there was only one short trail to walk but lots of nearby boating and fishing. Beautiful view from the yurts!
