October 3rd. I booked my G2 test for 3:25 in Winchester. We got there at 3:33 because of traffic. The machine to sign-in tells us we're too late and that we have to go talk to the lady at the front desk. Very rude, highly unprofessional, old-looking, lady working there. She tells us that I can't do my test because I'm over 10 minutes late to my appointment; we were 8 minutes late. We ask her if we can go anyways or if she can rebook a test for me. She tells us, looking annoyed, that I can't go because the examinator is busy and that she can't rebook it and that we have to do it; it would have taken her like 5 minutes to rebook it for us, so she's lazy. Then she tells us we have to repay to retake the test because i missed my turn. If I wasn't there, that means that either the person before me is still doing their test and the schedule is late, or that the person after me is doing their test and the schedule is early. Either way, they could've fit me in to do my test, considering I was only 8 minutes late, and the place was empty.

Another example of government waste and poor customer service. Got there a few minutes late (my fault) for a G2. As if they were exactly on time (I have never seen any Gov agency respecting the schedule) and refused to slot us in, although it looks like the person before us used our timeslot. They could have accommodated us, nope. The lady with white hair described in other comments is the one...Drivetest and employees are a joke, they don't care. It needs to be fixed. They are working for us, not the other way around.

Horrible experience. The lady behind the counter was extremely rude and needs to take a course on customer service. Was taking my daughter for her G1 test, I was not sure if we were to go into the Drivetest centre or Service Ontario. I walked into Drivetest building first to find out. I walked in, was barked at to take a ticket, then yelled at that I probably did not have the right documentation anyways to take the test. I asked her what we needed, then she barked that I should have read the website. To finish it off, she told me it did not matter anyways since my daughter needed to have the test done by 4:45 pm. I mentioned that I thought they were open till 5. She then went nuts that my daughter needed to be there before 4 to take the test and kicked me out. I am very grateful, my daughter was still in the car. I have never received customer service like this before. I have worked in customer service industry before and cannot understand why the owner would continue to let her act this way. She should be fired. She is renewing special memories for kids. Reviews are horrible about this woman, I totally understand it. Since this experience I have spoken to other customers that have a had to deal with her as well and they have all had the same experience. If you hate your job that much, find something else and stop being so miserable.

The Service Ontario Center location beside has great customer service. The lady behind the desk was so helpful and nice. Maybe take some lessons from her on how to behave!

I took the exam twice and they are literally looking for an excuse to quit. Last month's instructor said a reason why he failed me in the exam (I had to wait while someone was turning from the main road) so this instructor says there is no such rule where did that come from. While they haven't reached a clear rule among themselves, they expect ridiculous things from us. Another thing is that in the previous exam, he said you have to completely turn off the car before a three-point turn and then start it again, this instructor says there is no such rule, they just talk differently every month. This time the instructor's reason for failed me is because I slowed down and entered a left turn while entering a side road from the main road. Can't I see the road first and make sure and then to turn? Is there such a ridiculous rule? He says you have to turn without slowing down? Is this a reason to quit? I really didn't do anything wrong. It's unfair that I was failed just because I slowed down and turned. I will complain everywhere. You are being racist because we are immigrants, nothing else.

Absolute disrespectful customer service there is.
I recently visited this place and the woman with the white short hair with glasses and colourful eye shadows completely yelled at me because of a small issue and continue to yell at me for a few minutes even after the issue is resolved. However a nice man assisted me with the test. I find that insulting and I wish the centre plans to do something about it.

Do NOT book your Driver's test at this location.

First and foremost, having any sort of test is stressful and nervous as is and with that being said the receptionist at this location is down right rude and snotty and she should not be working in this capacity.

Secondly, the driving instructor is very vague with his instructions and if you ask him to repeat the instructions in different wording so you can understand he just repeats his instructions that he originally stated.

I highly recommend that nobody goes to this location.

(Only giving 1 star since 0 stars wasn't an option)

Down right rude and inconsiderate this establishment
