Anmore RV Park is a convenient base if you want quick access to Buntzen Lake and the surrounding trails. The sites are shaded and fairly spacious, and the park has handy amenities like showers, laundry, and a small store. Families will appreciate the playground and sports court, and the location feels quiet compared to being in the city. On the downside, the rates are a bit higher than some other campgrounds, and the gravel sites can feel uneven. It also gets busy in summer, so booking ahead is almost a must. Still, it’s a solid choice if you want a mix of nature and basic comforts close to Vancouver.

This was a great option for members of our lacrosse team that had RVs. Anmore is a beautiful peaceful area just minutes away from busy coquitlum where we needed to be for a lacrosse provincials. The grounds were clean, the shower houses were nice and the option of laundry was a bonus. The basketball and volleyball court was well used by our group of kids. Communication was very open and quick with the campground manager who was flexible and reasonable to deal with. Would recommend and stay again.

Great Camping location, the staff are so friendly and the whole place is maintained well. Your so close to Bunzen lake it’s a 25 min hike through an amazing forest trail or a 6 min drive. Everywhere is pet friendly. They have great showers and a laundry facility and a playground with basketball/ volleyball courts for kids.

Very nice campsite with amazing staff. Beautiful location with path to lake to swim. Playground for kids with basketball nets/tennis courts. Would highly recommend and will be back!!

I was very disappointed with the way my reservation was handled. My request was denied solely because of the breed of my dog, a Staffordshire Terrier. This decision reflects a lack of knowledge and understanding of the breed.

Staffordshire Terriers, often called “nanny dogs,” are historically known for their loyalty, gentleness, and affection toward families, especially children. They are not inherently dangerous, and responsible ownership should be the deciding factor in evaluating whether a pet is welcome, not outdated stereotypes.

It is frustrating that such policies still exist, as they unfairly discriminate against responsible dog owners and well-behaved family pets. I hope the campground management will take the time to educate themselves on this breed and reconsider their approach in the future.

This trailer park is conveniently located near the entrance to Buntzen Lake. It offers sites that accommodate tenting all the way to full sized bus type RVs. All the amenities are available including showers (paid), outdoor swimming pool, basketball court, and volleyball. The property is generally well kept and clean, although some of the amenities are showing its wear and tear. The quietest sites are in the center as the outer ones are next to the street traffic. Gated community with entry code.

ABSOLUTELY loved this campground ! We just wanted to get out of the city but not be to far from home and what a surprise this place was ! Quiet ,lots of huge trees and very clean and well maintained and only 45 minutes away from home …. Will certainly return again
