Christine planned out the entirety of our 26 day trip to Africa. It went off without a hitch, from the moment we boarded our plane in Toronto until touch down over three weeks later. It included travel in two countires and internal flights and transfers as well as booking accommodations and activities. The accommodations she chose for us were varied but all good, including perhaps the best place overall we've ever stayed in! She arranged a variety of drivers to connect our destinations and every one was on time, on schedule, and professional. The additional activities were also well organized. We contacted her colleague in S Africa for a few minor scheduling changes and they were equally helpful and attentive. It had been years since I had retained the services of a travel agent for a trip, but I decided to do so for this trip as I'd never been to Africa before. Good decision. I couldn't have organized this trip as well on my own, and it would have been a lot more stressful!

We had the most amazing time! Christine put together a fantastic 1-week itinerary to Victoria Falls, Chobe, and Okavango on short notice and took great care of us before and during - including organizing an emergency visit to at dentist at Victoria Falls. We saw everything, an unforgettable life-changing luxury adventure!

Chris listens & helps curate lifetime worthy adventures. She has access to unique travel operators. Each trip is custom & curated and that tends to come at a cost (with approved budget). My comment is not a reflection on the travel advisor or service; just good taste of the traveler. We enjoyed our Ecuador trip with 2 generations very much.

Christine came through for us once again! Repeat travellers here with this fantastic agency! We recently returned from a wonderful adventure in the Galapagos and Ecuador. Hiking in the Ecuadoran Highlands, exploring the historic city of Quito, snorkelling in the Galapagos and our trip highlight - gazing at a double rainbow on our huge balcony in the heart of the Ecuadoran rainforest. Christine has a real gift for coming up with itineraries that match her clients' interests and her attention to detail and logistics is top notch. We highly recommend TravelBoecker Adventures - they are simply, the BEST!

Christine from TravelBoecker was referred to us by a colleague at work who had previously used her for their Africa trip a couple of years ago.
Christine can make any itinerary to fit your budget! We simply gave her a list of things we wanted to explore and experience and she made it happen. All we did was provide her with time frame of travel, duration of travel and budget.

We initially wanted to visit more than one country but did not work out with our time frame and budget. We ended up choosing Tanzania based on the time of year and the great migration. It was a fantastic choice! We saw everything we wanted to in Tanzania and more than we could have imagined. We explored Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park (Central & North) and Mount Kilimanjaro. Christine is very knowledgeable and has great attention to detail. She was in communication with one of her ground service provider in Tanzania and found out the migration was moving into the northern Serengeti almost a month early. She adjusted our itinerary to ensure we had the best opportunity to experience the migration. We were one of the first clients at the northern camp this year! We were one of the few safaris that actually witnessed the Wildebeest Migration and it was unbelievable.

For those looking to hike Mount Kilimanjaro, whether it is to the summit or just to one of the base camps, you definitely need to mentally prepare yourself and have a standard level of fitness. With our limited time frame and budget, we only hiked to the first base camp and it was quite the hike. I hope to go back and hike the summit one day. The only thing that I would have changed about our trip was the last hotel we stayed at. We stayed at the Keys Hotel by the mountain where most hikers stay for the night before hiking the next morning. Christine did tell us to look into the hotel and reviews before we make a decision. Given our budget and time frame, we thought it would be fine. After staying at the hotel for two nights, I would have personally paid some extra money to stay at another hotel. The hotel had all the necessities one needs, but I just didn’t really find it that clean..Again, Christine was working within our budget and did tell us to look into it more thoroughly before deciding. With that said, I would still do the exact same itinerary again in a heartbeat!

Thank you Christine for helping me check off something on my bucket list!

Christine put together a fantastic itinerary for us. We started our adventure at Sacha Lodge in the Amazon Basin: great guide, lovely accommodations in an amazing jungle location. The highlight of our trip was our Galapagos Islands cruise on a luxury 16-guest trimaran. Again, our naturalist guide, Harry, was an absolute gem. We had eight days of walks, hikes, kayak and snorkelling outings to take in the natural beauty and awesome wildlife of the Galapagos. It couldn't have been better!

As enthusiasts for nature, wildlife and in particular birds, we have successfully planned our own travel in New Zealand, North America, the UK and Europe. But the prospect of a self-organized African safari was daunting—until we decided to consult an expert, Christine Boecker, and leave the details to her. In our video discovery call and later email exchanges, Christine listened and made suggestions based on her intimate knowledge of Southern Africa, and tailored a three-week journey that proved to be the travel highlight of a lifetime.
Three days of exploration on the Cape Peninsula, in wetlands and botanical gardens in Cape Town, and the Overberg east of the city, with a guide whose knowledge of local birds as well as love of all things botanical, geological and historical set the tone for this superb introduction to Africa.
And then
three action-packed days of game drives at Idube Game Reserve in Sabi Sand, with up-close sightings all of the big five, including a beautiful leopard family. Two days near Victoria Falls (impressive, even in pre-rain low-flow), with close encounters with elephants and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi. And nine days in Botswana, at Desert & Delta properties (Savute, Okavango, Moremi), with game drives and small-boat cruises led by knowledgeable and personable guides, who showed us, as no book or documentary program could ever do, just how vast, wild and rich with life this part of the world is.
What let us enjoy these destinations was the well-oiled system Christine and her on-site travel partners organized between venues. At least a dozen road transfers to and from airports, hotels, and borders, as well as four flights by bush plane or helicopter in Botswana, all ran like clockwork. No anxieties about connections whatsoever.
Add to this the high quality of the Victoria and Alfred hotel in Cape Town, the equally high quality of the safari lodges, the standard of cuisine everywhere, and the enthusiastic singing and dancing of the staff in Botswana, and the result is a collection of wonderful memories. We highly recommend Christine at Travel Boecker Adventures to plan and deliver a great African experience.
