The lady at the counter was lovely and helpful. We bought tickets off busbud to go to Halifax from Charlottetown. There was one transfer in Amherst and the driver was quick to point out which was the next bus for us to take. My ticket worked during this ride. For some reason the ticket was working for my husband but not me for the second ride. The bus driver was very friendly and I showed my receipts. He allowed me to get on the bus and did a smooth drive all the way to the Halifax airport. I was unaware until a minute before the trip that the bus could go to downtown Halifax. I purchased another ticket from the Halifax airport to downtown Halifax for my husband and I and it processed very quickly. We were able to stay on the same ride with the lovely driver (I think his name was bob?) We arrived safely on this very long ride and it was very scenic and our luggage were safe and sound. I think the only note is there are very few if any stops for bathrooms so make sure you go before you get on. We had brought our own snacks for the ride because I think it was a 5 hour ride total from PEI to downtown Halifax. If you’re going for a long long ride like we did, make sure you do your calf muscle exercises to get the blood circulating in your legs to prevent blood clots.

The bus is a great way to travel. It was a busy Friday afternoon. Very cost-effective trip from Charlottetown to Truro. We arrived just a few minutes late. Bus station is near The Glengarry, where I stayed. Excellent drivers, very professional and courteous. I've used the bus a few times. Smooth travel every time. Wi-Fi on board, too.

Affordable travel option to travel from Halifax to Charlottetown. Buses are clean and modern. The transfer in Amherst took about 10-15mins in the cold winter wind but it does help save money flying form thee Halifax airport, if you don't mind the 5hr trip ?

Took Maritime Bus from Charlottetown to St John,NB. This was my first time traveling on bus, it was approximately 5hr trip, I found it to be very comfortable, wifi and bathroom available, had 3 stops on route,was able to get coffee or snacks at different locations on scheduled stops.

Outstanding customer service! I had to cancel a bus trip and they were incredibly considerate and helpful, though I just got a credit with them for a future trip they were very understanding and gave me a full credit refund, especially great considering Westjet charged me $250 just to cancel my flight. I will absolutely be traveling with Maritime Bus in the near future!

Courteous drivers, schedule was respected, and passengers were great. I was amazed at the value. Only $57 from Charlottetown to the Halifax Airport. No effort, just relax. There is a washroom on the bus. We stopped in Amherst and Truro for a stretch. Really great service. I will take it again.
