We took the 11 Day Impressions of China with Bullet Train (Nov. 12) and wow, it was excellent value! Granted, we had to each buy a China Visa for CAD $180 each, and mandatory gratuities were US $120 each. And, we took all of the Optional Outings so that cost about CAD $500, but most were worthwhile.

Many of the areas of China that we saw were modern buildings, except for the gardens, palaces, the Old City in Shanghai ... The Forbidden City optional tour was excellent. The optional canal boat tour and walking in the old market in Suzhou ($40 each) gave us the best glimpse into "old" (not gentrified) China... the optional evening boat tour of Shanghai was excellent (all the buildings are illuminated). The optional outings (in the evening or during the day) that were less interesting were the walk in an old area (now being gentrified) with lunch at a family home; the Peking Duck dinner was disappointing; really just another meal like the lunches but with some pieces of duck.

The guide in the southern portion of the tour, Grace, was *excellent* and Lydia in Beijing was very good. She had a problem the first day, not realizing that we did not have any food on the plane ... and the hotel had no food service open around 1pm when we arrived. Otherwise, she was very informative.

There were seven places they took us to that were for shopping, Jade, Silk, Green Tea, Peals, etc. I am not a shopper so I tolerated them, but a lot of the folks in the group enjoyed the opportunities. There was not much pressure to make a purchase at most of them; a bit at the Pearl place and at the herbal medicine company. (My wife did by some pearls, green tea, silk etc. but not as much as some of the other ladies.)

The hotels were mostly four star, very, very nice to excellent. We had 11 (included) group meals; the restaurant would drop a lot of different food items on the table for the group to share. I am not very adventuresome, but still found plenty of food that I enjoyed.

Our tour used China Eastern Airlines, Toronto to Shanghai, non-stop both ways. Then, during the 11 days, we flew to Beijing. The last day, we had to fly back to Shangai (VERY early in the morning) for the flight home ...wish there had been fewer in-country flights. The non-stop flights were 14.5 hours each, about like Air Canada in terms of modern aircraft, comfort, and mediocre but edible food. (Some tours use Air Canada and that carrier does fly to Toronto from Beijing, saving the flight from Beijing to Shanghai on the last day ... but I'm not sure if the AC flight to China is non-stop.)

I could nit pick a bit here and there (not enough time at the Summer Palace, one Hotel was only a three star, two days with 3.5 hour bus rides) but I won't do so. This trip was excellent value and we enjoyed most aspects of China.

We had an excellent experience with we china vacation. They are a bit hard to communicate by email, while in Canada. Once in China though, everything is very well organized and runs exceptionally smoothly. Food is average to good. Hotels are good to excellent. China Eastern airlines was also good, with acceptable food and flights were on schedule. Mandatory tours are somewhat boring, but there is no pressure to purchase anything. Shanghai river boat ride at night is spectacular and well worth $60.

We have recently returned November 26, 2018 from our 11 day China Bullet Train Impression tour with We China Vacations, and had a wonderful experience. Our tour guide Mr. Henry was great, very knowledgeable, fluent in English language and provided lots of information about locals, country and overall history of China. He took us all day Shanghai tour including night cruise on the Huangpu River was amazing and mesmerizing. Our another guide Ms Mandy at Wuxi was amazing and very charming lady who through lots of information about that area including fresh water pearls and silk. Travel by Bullet train from Shanghai to Beijing was great experience and our guide Ms Vicky at Beijing was very helpful, knowledgeable and helped all the way to Beijing airport. The trip itself was an eye-opener for us, and changed our view of China. We seen the cleanliness everywhere and very organized traffic and the trees and parks and greenery everywhere which were a real surprise. Overall we will give 5* to this trip and thanks to We China Vacation to organised such a nice and affordable trip. We look forward to see more trips in future. Thanks!!

It was great experience, and good value for the money. I would have prefer to go to other market than only to pearl and silk factory. Tour guide in Shanghai Peter was the best. He tried to make every one happy in a group of 30 people. I definitely would recommend this tour company.

Price was great , overall expectations more than I expected. Tour guide Peter wu in Shanghai and Daniel in Beijing where great , some of the lunches where a little too western like popcorn chicken and smiley potatoes. Other than that our free time was good , you could go out and explore whitout any issues and some great food in Shanghai
Authentic, dishes with beef , and chicken the fish is all freshwater and farmed.

What an awesome trip, just came back 2 days ago. Thanks to wechinavacation for arranging a perfect vacation. There is only one complaint about one of the hotels with Smoking rooms in Shanghai but we were able to switch to a different room. The rest of the trip was perfect and not a single complaint. Thanks to our Tour Guides James and Wendy. We learnt a lot of China’s hidden Culture and History. If you stay in Shanghai Koyal Intl Hotel then try the food on the street coroner. I have attached a Photo. When you out from the Hotel make a left and make 1st left lane and the send left. The food is mouthwatering. Enjoy !

Just returned from the 11 day tour of Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, Hanzhou and Beijing. Found it very well organized , we were totally 33 tourists had wonderful tour guides both at Shanghai and Beijing. Kudos to our tour guides, Emily, Max & Vicky.who spent most of the time with us doing an awesome job. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
The only issues we had, were with the airline seating arrangements that separated families.
The hotels were fabulous and so was the breakfast spread. Would seriously recommend anyone wishing to travel to China to use WeChina.

Was really impressed with the phenomenal progress that China has made in the last decade. With a population of 1.4 Billion, they have surely surpassed the rest of the world and may be a model to follow for other populous countries. The government and the people of China really deserve credit for their achievement.

My family and I recently went to China through WeChina Vacation Tours. This was our very first exposure to China, and what a wonderful experience it was. Our tour guides, particularly our first tour guide, John, were so professional and thorough taking us to see all the beautiful scenery in China. They provide us with so much knowledge and valuable information about history of each scenery, and about the culture overall. An added bonus to the already wonderful tour; all the hotels they took us to were 4-5 star, and absolutely beautiful. Overall, it was such a unique and wonderful experience. My family and I will highly recommend everyone to experience going to China, especially through WeChina Vacations.
