The Pointhouse is one of the best B & B's my wife and I have ever visited. From spectacular views to gourmet food and wine, the service provided by Bob and Heather is first class all the way. You can't get much closer to the water than Pointhouse without getting wet, and the views over Sargeant Bay are stunning. Not only do the hosts provide B & B service, but self-catering options are available in two detached units. The grounds of Pointhouse exist in coastal Douglas fir forest, with paths leading to a sauna, hot tub, plunge pools and meditation spots. Perfect for rest and rejuvenation! We loved it there and our hosts were happy to help steer us to local hiking trails and eateries. It was a wonderful experience!

We could not have been happier with the spaciousness, comfort and accommodations in your home. Whether relaxing in the hot tub, reading on the deck, viewing Sargeant's Bay, listening to the many birds, or admiring your amazing landscaping -- it all integrated us totally into B.C.'s beautiful natural world. ||Thank you for providing this remarkable venue which we would like to return to.

We've now been lucky enough to stay at Pointhouse Suites four times in the past 12 years, almost always to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary - and now to also celebrate another chance to spend some quality time with Heather and Bob. Their home-away-from-home continues to evolve towards ever greater harmony with the land and sea. Never thought I'd see the inside of a geodesic dome again, but there it is, strategically placed on the property. In fact, everything about their place (outside and in) is so thoughtful and lovely. Kudos to our chef Amanda Fowles for treating us to the most wonderful private celebration dinner ever. Enough gushing - see you next time.

My husband and I had a fantastic and very relaxing weekend stay at Pointhouse. We booked the Beachcomber suite and the babymoon package. The Pointhouse itself is stunning, sitting right on the ocean and gorgeously designed and furnished. The Beachcomber suite is one of a few rooms inside the main house, and was very clean and also beautifully designed. It featured a walk-in rain/steam shower, a very comfortable king-sized bed with soft sheets, and a freestanding bath right next to a huge window with a breathtaking ocean view. As a bath lover, I was in heaven (and am still dreaming about it lol). The views from our suite were even better in person than in the pictures online, and we were even able to spot dolphins from our room with the binoculars we brought.

The only thing about the suite we found a bit odd is that the bathroom window and the windows above the bed don't have curtains or blinds, which could potentially give someone on the driveway a view inside. This was minor for us however and we were able to make ourselves feel a bit more comfortable by covering with a towel.

Breakfasts in the mornings were such a highlight. As someone with a food allergy and multiple intolerances, dealing with meals is usually an anxiety-inducing part of traveling. But Heather took note of all my restrictions and made us delicious, healthy breakfasts that we could both eat. I was able to just relax and enjoy for once, which was so nice. The eating area itself was also so beautiful and overlooked a panoramic view of the ocean. We definitely took our time at breakfast and enjoyed soaking in the views.

The babymoon package included a prental massage, which took place in one of the other suites with another beautiful view. The massage therapist was wonderful and I felt very pampered.

Overall, we'd highly recommend Pointhouse for a relaxing getaway. We felt so peaceful the entire weekend, surrounded by ocean in such a clean and beautiful space. It was exactly the babymoon we needed. We're currently sitting back at home as I write this and talking about how much we already miss it. We hope to go back again in the future! Thanks Bob and Heather for such a memorable stay.

I stayed just one night at Pointhouse Suites (on my way to a friend's farther north) but wish I could have stayed longer. It is a sublimely beautiful place, with impeccable luxurious accommodations perched on a pristine bay with walking trails at your doorstep. My room in the main house was wonderfully comfortable with amazing views and all the conveniences one could want. Heather was a gracious and friendly host and served a world class breakfast in the sun dappled dining area of the house overlooking the bay. I also appreciated their focus on sustainability. I can highly recommend.

Pointhouse suites is just incredible! Located on a beautiful bay with stunning properties and a new Nordic spa area, we really enjoyed spending a couple of nights here for our elopement. Heather took care of everything for us and their Elopement for Two package was exactly what were were looking for.

We loved having everything sorted for us within the package, while still being able to share our preferences. Being able to select our ceremony location and then still take photos around the rest of property was lovely. They included a cake and champagne toast and afterwards a private dinner was ready and waiting for us.

Couldn’t recommend this more for couples looking for a simple, low stress way to get married!

We eloped here. Heather and Bob are the most kind and welcoming souls I have had the pleasure of meeting. Everything was above expectation: Location, food, cake, photographer, chef and massages.||We stayed in the Aerie, and loved how effortlessly functional and beautiful it was. It was clean, private and yet still close to town if you needed to grab anything. ||Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Pointhouse. Heather and Bob are lovely, welcoming hosts, and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The home is beautiful and the grounds are meticulously cared for, with plenty of peaceful spots to relax and take it all in. We’re already looking forward to making this our annual getaway.
