We spent 3 days fishing the Kitimat and Skeena with Gill and Westcoast Fishing Adventures. Gill is an unbelievably knowledgeable guide, he put us 4 newbies to Spey fishing on many big fish. The catching fish part is obviously awesome because that’s what we’re there to do, but maybe even more than the catching I enjoyed Gill’s knowledge and coaching regarding my casting and fishing techniques; he shortened my learning curve immensely and I’m a much more effective and confident Spey fisherman than I was before the trip. I couldn’t leave a review without giving a HUGE shoutout to Mandi who is obviously the glue that keeps the operation running. Her meals and hospitality made it feel like home. Great people! Great hospitality! Great fish! Absolutely stunning part of our Province!

Such an incredible experience!
Me and my friend did a guided trip with Gill who clearly has so much knowledge and passion for fly fishing. That being said, while me and my friend are not the most experienced fly fishermen we were both DEFINITELY very new to spey casting… However, Gill did an incredible job at explaining and helping us learn to cast and make the most of our day!
Thanks to both Mandi and Gill we managed to have an incredible day in the sun catching fish and sharing laughs! Could not recommend this group enough

This was a very special father/son trip and as much as we were hoping for it to be perfect.... it was even better that we could have hoped for.
We've had many fishing adventures in the past and travelled both in Canada and across the globe to some of the finest fishing destinations available (from remote lodges in Scotland, to the Queen Charlotte Islands, to Fernie, to Alaska, to Mexico and more) but this trip was one of our absolute best.
Gill and Mandi are thoughtful, genuine, passionate and very knowledgeable hosts. The lodgings and food was top notch, just perfect after a day on the river. The fishing... well, the fishing was the best we've ever experienced across 40-years of fishing trips.
Gill is an incredible guide, with a passion for customizing the experience for guests and doing everything he can to make every day on the river one to remember. I would HIGHLY recommend this trip to any angler. Whether it's an annual or a once in a lifetime trip. Put this on your bucket list! Thanks you Gill and Mandi!!!!!

This was my first time to the Terrace, BC Area. I've had guided ocean fishing trips before but this was a completely new experience. Gill and Mandi's approach was very refreshing. Gill took me on a few different tributaries and offered advice and education about the amazing river system but also all the species we were fishing for. I genuinely appreciated his skills knowledge and sensitivity to the environment. He worked hard to help me find fish and we had great, fun with lots of laughter.

The lodge was really great, Mandi put on an amazing spread and we enjoyed good conversation. They made me feel like part of the family and I loved every minute of it. Just kind, down to earth people who share their love of the outdoors. I'm coming back with my wife next time.
