We spent the last weekend at this lovely cabin right on the lake. It was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. We were able to bring our dog which was awesome and a deciding factor for us. There are canoes and kayaks available. Jacuzzi in the room. We will definitely be back!

Loved every bit about our cabin at Riverview! It was exceptionally clean! Owners Walter & Margaret were amazing! It was peaceful and completely stress free! Exactly what we needed. Will definitely be back!
Side note: Wood was chopped, everything was there and easy to use, jacuzzi tub was a major perk!

Choo Choo Rosenbloom

My friend and I stayed at Riverview Lodge for three nights last week. This is a beautiful Lodge on the shores of Eleanor lake. We had cabin number 9, which is a two bedroom cabin. My friend took the bedroom near the front door and I had the one next to the living area. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I found my bedroom to be quite dark because there was no overhead light. There were two bedside lamps, but they did not provide a lot of light. The bedroom near the front door had an additional light on the wall. We had a gas fireplace, but we did not use it because it was very hot when we were there. Air-conditioning worked great.

We had a fantastic view of the lake and the shore was just steps from our deck so we were able to photograph the Milky Way from our own backyard, which was really awesome. It is also a great place to photograph sunsets and we were able to capture time lapses of the sun setting and star trails. We were very lucky that on our three nights we had clear skies and it is so magical to stand under the stars right in your own backyard.

There is a very adorable chipmunk who is always running around the back collecting food. We had brought some birdseed and he loved collecting sunflower seeds and peanuts, and he would take it from my hand. The kitchen is spacious and we enjoyed having our meals there. They provide 5 gallons of drinking water, which is very nice and very appreciated.

You are only allowed 8 GB of Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, my friend and I used up our allowance on the first day so we had no Wi-Fi in the evening. The next morning, I still could not get my Wi-Fi to work so I had to call the front office. Walter came and managed to fix it and I got my Wi-Fi working, but my friend could never get the Wi-Fi to work for the rest of our stay.

We enjoyed our day very much and we will miss our little chipmunk friend and the dark skies at night, where you can watch the Milky Way and the beautiful stars.

The couple who owned this property , Marguerite and Walter, a very warm and friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean & Convenient
We booked a cabin at this resort for a week in August 2024 and upon arrival we were very impressed with the cabin’s cleanliness - the oven and the bbq were spotless, to give you an idea of how thorough the cleaning was. The kitchen had everything you could need! We were also happy that the resort offers pet-friendly cabins and our dog had a great time. The views from the cabins are spectacular - large windows look out directly over the lake. However, you are still very close to the highway, so you will hear some traffic during your stay.
The advantage of being so close to the highway is that you are conveniently located near the north entrance to the Whiteshell Provincial Park and are just a 20 minute drive from a few of the park’s main hikes. You are also not far from Beausejour in case you need to pick up anything not sold at one of the nearby general stores.
The resort also offers some canoes and kayaks to use and a beach. The water by the resort does have lots of aquatic vegetation, so if you don’t like swimming in that, the public beaches for Eleanor & Dorothy Lakes are also just up the road.

We stayed this last weekend in cabin #6.It was an amazing weekend. The lake front view of the sunset was the most relaxing and beautiful thing to experience. The jucuzzi tub was five star! Everything you could ever need to recharge and relax.
We will return asap!

I just had a beautiful stay over this past weekend for my birthday and I have to stay, the website does not do this place any justice.
First of all Margret and Wayne are amazing! They accepted my very very last minute booking and took time out of their own evening so we can check in very very late on a Friday night. When we arrived the place was dark so when we got to our cabin the anticipation of waking up to a view of the water itself was exciting never could I ever imagine the view o woke up to the following morning.

Everything about this place is breath taking and just beautiful. I found myself spending most of the time just admiring the view and nature that surrounded us.

Even though this is off season it was one of the best places I’ve ever gone and would highly recommend even in the off season!

Thank you for the wonderful stay! You will definitely see us again!

Beautiful cabins. Bring any spices (salt and pepper are there) if you have leftovers bring some saran wrap as there isnt lids for bowls. The lake is very beautiful. Use of the paddle boats, canoes and kayaks is includes. Lifejackets are provided.
