My daughter has enjoyed taking part in ACANY productions as well as taking voice lessons with one of their teachers since 2019. She is always excited about the shows. The productions are well run, the cast is always very talented, the costumes are amazing, and it's directed by industry professionals. The kids get a real feel about what goes into putting on a show in a very short period of time. Her voice teacher is excellent. My daughter has improved vocally and her voice has really developed in the time that Rebecca has been working with her.

My daughter has been taking acting workshops, participating in showcases and taking voice lessons through A Class Act NY since 2022. She has learned and grown so much in just a short time and she is always excited to attend her lessons. ACANY always hires professionals who are great with children and willing to share their knowledge. They are a professional company and we are excited to see what her future brings with them! We travel from RI and it is ALWAYS worth the trip!

Nothing but amazing things to say about ACANY. From the very first class my son took last summer, it was clear that this program was something special. The instructors are not only immensely talented, but actual well known industry professionals who know exactly how to bring out creativity, connections and confidence all while providing essential feedback.
My son has grown tremendously, both in his acting skills and in his self-assurance. ACANY has been a place where he can be himself, has made friends, and it is helping him launch a career. I highly recommend this program to any parent looking for a high-quality experience for their child.

I brought a group of 9 high school students and a chaperone from South Carolina to NYC, and we were so pleased with the quality of the experiences that A Class Act arranged for us. We saw Merrily We Roll Along, and then ACANY connected us with a Broadway swing who taught us a combination from the show, worked with us on the meaning of the song and its movements, and even had a music director/accompanist on hand to teach us the notes & rhythms before we learned movements. My kids were all from different experiential backgrounds and had no trouble picking up everything. The second workshop was a Business of Show Business workshop that was truly reflective of what it takes to be a working actor in the city. As a leader of trip, I appreciated the communication, organization, preparedness and kindness of everyone from this company. Highly recommended!

Our daughter really enjoyed a weekend class working on fun up to date monologues from current television shows she enjoys while getting great feedback from industry professionals. Jillian and the staff were professional and helpful. Jess is a great resource for parents who have children working in the business.

Agents & managers attend but the teachers aren't encouraging and the one who runs this school calls up the students at the end of the classes and spends MINUTES trying to SELL more classes. Then after letting her speak, you go to ask one simple question and she says she needs money to keep talking because her time is limited. Literally so uptight & never had this issue in any other acting class. If you're okay spending so much to perform with top managers go ahead, but the confidence you have is likely to go down after attending here. And for an actor confidence is everything.
