Love this book store! Everyone is so friendly, and very helpful. There's always a pot of coffee ready and the fireplace is lit. Books everywhere! Looks are deceiving, it's small on the outside, but when you step through the door it feels like miles and miles of shelves with tons of choices! I drive an hour from northern NJ every few months to check out the newest selections, especially Stephen King! Shop small business, check this place out. You'll be glad you stopped by.

Wish I got to experience this cute, little bookstore on a normal day. Went for their Memorial Day event and got some goodies. Staff is friendly and good selection. Wish there were more science fiction and YA but hey, it’s great anyways.

UPDATE! 7.12.20. Come back to this awesome bookstore!!! Moved to a new space on Center Road (around the corner from old store). well curated selection of history, non fiction, literature, and book club favorites and European cookbooks. Something for everyone - history fans, literature and front room even stocked with best sellers. No mold, writing and with very good dust jackets.

A stranger to the area, I was thrilled to not only happen upon a local bookshop, but this particular one. Fairly certain any lover of books would feel as welcomed home as I did, stepping into this humble cottage brimming with rare old gems and new surprise finds. The owner also offered a warm welcome to town, and added to the atmosphere with music playing low and coffee brewing in back. A true hub for readers of history, including local lore. Left my first visit contented with two books under my arm, and circled back at the end of my stay in the region to take home one more. When I return to the area next, I have no doubt this'll be my first stop.

This is a lovely bookshop! The owner was friendly, and the books are very reasonably priced. There are both new and old books. The rooms are organized, and there is something for everyone. We'll be back!
