My Brother James Raulerson was a client here for a few months. It was such an easy and rewarding process for him & the family both. I was in the ACTS Center about 20 years ago and I took it as a joke, because I wasn't ready to get clean. I did 6 months and got a lot of numbers from the residents so we could hook up and party. By the time I finished my legal obligations and tried to contact my, "friends " from ACTS almost every one was dead. They only give you what you are ready to take. They are great and I now have almost 12 years sober! Addiction is a preference, not a sentence...

No disrespect for any other ACTS facilities, this one is mediocre, if you have no other alternative then go there don't expect a miracle to happen if your not willing to work for it, its your life they don't care. "some" staff are excellent and the one's that should be are not!! there short staffed and the one's that have been there long enough even counselors show very little care and respect for your goals and needs. I could mention you all by name from the curly haired MIdget Squirel whisperer to the "I'm always on my phone, think i'm cute" Female staff, but that would give you some validity that you dont deserve. To Those that did me right, I appreciate your help, care & concern wholeheartedly, You are truly appreciated ( BHT Ms.Christina, Ms. Laura, Roger, Ms. Kelli (boston bomshell), Ms. Kim) Thank you!!!

The entire time I was at acts I always thought of the old reviews I read before I decided to go, all of which were awful. Turns out they were from quite awhile ago and couldn't be further from the current reality. ACTS Keystone literally saved my life. The staff from the Program Director, especially the therapists, nurses and the technicians, had a more profound impact on my path to recovery then I could ever have dreamed possible. If you like I was are reading these reviews contemplating the decision to take the plunge, DO IT. Do it, and never look back. ACTS was my first attempt at treatment ever, and I cannot stress enough what an amazing program this is. If your worried about being patronized like any other medical facility, Boy do I have news for you. The staff work hard, and I MEAN above and beyond to create a comfortable and therapeutic environment for the clients. Not to blow up anyone's spot but most of them have first hand knowledge about the struggles of addiction. You will have a place to sleep, hot water, pretty good food, and if you go in homeless and complete the program, you will not leave that way. The staff creates a comfortable friendly environment, and as the time passes it almost becomes a family of its own. As I am writing this I am 6 months and 1 day clean and I honestly owe it all to ACTS Keystone. To the staff of acts I don't know if you read these, but thank you. I will never be able to repay my debt of gratitude but I will never stop trying.

I was a resident in August and September of 2021. I caught COVID19 Delta variant. i was put on quarintine for 10 days and was put under so much stress when i came back i had to leave. i have maintained my sobriety on my on. its a good facility but they are petty on some levels. you can smoke 3 times a day. I feel that they did me wrong. the director is awesome and so are both Therapist named Don D. and Don P.

You have a deer a turkey and a squirrel, pull up to you standing on the side of the road with your thumb up. You hop into that rundown 74 Impala having no idea where you are headed, you arrive to your unknown destination. And your journey begins. Distractions, the deer the turkey the squirrel. Staff other clients, even the individuals running the place. I learned that the focus was not them, I needed to keep the focus on me, broken, jacked up from the floor up I came in, left with tools and a new clear pair of glasses. Don p. Thank you Don D. Thank you, staff thank you. It wasn't the place that was the ploblem, it was I that had the problem and I left those problems, demons, thoughts right there at the fence line. In closing. It's all about the (NOW ) and the ESSENCE. THANK YOU KEYSTONE

I thought acts was a good program, with any program you go to there will be good staff members and not so good ones, and there will always be some problem clients who don't take their recovery seriously but its up to you, and the choices you make while you are in treatment and when you leave treatment. But overall the staff at ACTS was very helpful and I am still clean and sober today so you can listen to all these bad reviews if you want to. Recovery is what you make of it.
