Stayed here for 3 weeks during fire evacuation. This is a great little hotel rooms are clean beds are awesome and thank you for not charging ridiculous rates will definetly stay again.The food is great nothing fancy but very very good and lots of options. The pub is just that it's a pub and a damn good one. The beer is very cold and the bar staff is friendly. If you have an issue with this place the issue is yours. Thanx everyone for giving us a quiet place to wait out our exile.

I knew as soon as I saw the outside that I would regret the decision to prebook this hotel. Dark and dingy when you finally find the right door to enter. All the other entrances were locked and the main lobby entrance was actually a liquor store entrance. Felt creepy and disgusting as soon as I came in. |Check in was ok. Room was surprising. Better than expected from what I had seen so far. |Floors were laminate so at least it felt cleaner than if it had been carpet. |Bed seemed clean but looked like a kid made it. Just kind of thrown together. |Bathroom had Lino on the floor and was old but clean. |A/C didn’t work and I was facing a back alley, so opening the window didn’t feel safe. |Definitely would not recommend this place. The only reason I took it was because the price was more reasonable than other hotels in the area. Most were around $200 per night. That is outrageous and totally unacceptable.

Looks like a dive from the outside, check in for your room is in liquor store, made sure we checked room before paying. Room clean and looks new renovation, smells like fire smoke in hallways. Found out it burned down some years ago. As room was clean we checked in and paid. After we came back from supper in the evening people moved in upstairs, well it sounded like they moved into our room. I guess the floors are wood and every step it sounded like people would fall through the ceiling. You could hear every word clearly as they would be in your room. When they used the washroom it sounded like a waterfall in our room. Final word, stay away, not sure if it’s better on second floor but do not stay on main floor.

Stayed for one night. Left Sunday morning. No hot water to wash or shower. While I ran the sink for 5 minutes waiting for hot water, the drain on the sink leaked all on the floor. No staff till noon on Sunday so there wasn’t anyone to report it to. Room was big and clean and the beds were comfortable.

Sitting in the pub, and the older waitress is very rude and acting annoyed soon as I was buying drinks and shots for couple guys as well...my daughter who was sober driver asked for a water and was snubbed, walked away like she was bothering her. Her friend waiting to cash a ticket on and the she just ignore her until a customer told her she been waiting. Grabbed ticket and just handed her the money instead of counting it. Very rude!!!
I like to come here sometimes because my daughter lives near by, makes us feel pretty uncomfortable.
What happened to customer service I understand it gets stressful, but we were there for a couple drinks to end the night.
I would like to add, we are not rowdy as some people are pretty intoxicated.

Went here for supper. Waited 15 minutes, ignored by wait staff. Went to bar, ignored by bar man standing there. Finally walked out.

I stayed here over the last few days, rooms are wonderful very dated and nice, other then bed are not comfy, feels like your laying a rock. Hotel otherwise many day there free breakfast ( there isn’t ) it smells deeply like Ashe and smoke.
