Tres bonne experience avec cette compagnie. Nous avons du faire plus d’une heure de bateau avant de voir deux baleines. Nous avons eu droit a un beau spectacle de leur part. Le capitaine était très sympathique. Ses deux employés d’une gentillesse remarquable. Ils nous ont donnés pleins d’informations sur les baleines. Une équipe super compétente. Je recommande.

Journée brumeuse mais nous avons pu voir quelques baleines très proches du bateau. Le personnel etait vraiment très gentils. Ils ont pris du temps pour venir voir chaque famille et échanger avec eux afin de repondre à nos questions.

We went on the 2pm tour today and had a blast. The crew were super friendly and knew their stuff. We were lucky and got awesome weather to head all the way south down past Brier island and caught a couple mink whales and some porpoises but Matt wasn’t satisfied. Heard there were some humpbacks in St Mary’s bay so he headed us through Grand Passage and headed down to find them, a first time in their company’s history apparently. Sure enough, a short time later we had a couple humpbacks swimming around and checking out the boat! It was very cool to see such large animals up close doing their thing.
Very satisfied with the lengths they went through to try and have everybody get a chance to see the whale. His crew/helpers went above and beyond walking around talking to everybody, hearing their stories and sharing some of their own. And they had an answer for every question I heard them receive about the whales and local sights and ecosystem.
Overall had a fabulous time and would love to do it again sometime!

I highly recommend Adventure Bay Whale Watching !! I went, as part of a large group (15 of us including 8 kids) and we had a wonderful time. The captain and crew were fantastic, answering questions and sharing in the excitement when we saw whales. The boat is a nice size, without being too big. My kids loved the entire experience. We saw whales, sunfish, and seals during our 3 hour tour.

Captain Matt and crew were very welcoming when we got on the boat. After the tour began they each took the time to talk to each guest. Captain Matt shared his route and what to expect. The fog prolonged the finding of whales but it didn’t take long to see two humpback whales. Captain Matt took the time so everyone could enjoy these amazing animals. The tour was 3 hours and I would highly recommend going across the ferry! We parked and walked onto ferry but very easy to drive on and park at where you check in. Thank you, this was the highlight of our vacation!

Do NOT book your trip at this location.

They are only in it for the money. If there are less than 10 passengers they WILL NOT take you on the tour.

We booked the tour on Thursday around 6PM for the tour on Saturday 6-9pm, guess what time they canceled our tour? THEY CANCELED OUR TOUR 90 MINUTES BEFORE THE TOUR.

My father, mother and I offered to pay the price of 7 passengers extra ($360 for 7 kids) and they still would not take us.

The captain gave us 3 different excuses including one about how the whales have moved. We spoke to a family that had just came back from their 2pm-5pm tour and they had seen ATLEAST 3-4 whales throughout the duration of this trip.

My family drove all the way from Halifax, rented a car, booked 2 nights at 2 different hotels along to way to get to "Adventure Bay Whale Watch Company" and all they had to say to us was "I'm sorry" and offer a refund.

I'm extremely disappointed in the captain and employees. We were really looking forward to this amazing tour but the GREED of the captain stopped us from enjoying our family trip.

We had an amazing experience, we were lucky to watch three humpback whales so close!!! The captain and the crew knew exactly what to do and where to go to increase the possibilities… Always respecting the wildlife… It was also TOP to have a biologist in the crew to answer all the questions we had during the trip… Thank you so much from BCN

Had an amazing time. It was very foggy, but the experienced crew helped make sure we were able to still see some whales.

They were all very friendly, and it helped make for a great day!
