Every flight I've been on since living here has been cancelled or delayed. Just go to Toronto and you'll have less of a headache and save $700-$900.

Air Canada is not dependable. I live in Northern Ontario and was required to attend a meeting in Alberta. I gave my self 2 days grace in case of incidentals. Air Canada cancelled my flight from North Bay to Toronto.
I rebooked the next day, again they cancelled my flight. While rushing to Toronto to catch my intersecting flight, Air Canada cancelled it. It’s sad that Northerners can not rely on Northern airports.

The airport is clean and new which is positive. Staff are friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the chairs are nice looking, but are quite uncomfortable if you are stuck there due to a delay. The wifi is spotty at best. The restaurant is closed before 4:00 and so if you get delayed, you are in for quite the bore as there is nowhere to eat. Note to self - bring lots of snacks and reading material in case of delays. This airport is basic as can be.

Airport is nice enough. I much prefer this to bigger airports. Reason for the low rating is extremely rude and confrontational staff at the restaurant. In a completely empty airport they will rudely kick you out of a seat if you don't buy something immediately. We had intended to make a purchase, sat down (1 min. approx) and were evicted. I didn't make a purchase out of spite after that.
