I use the ICE commuter bus to downtown Calgary and think it is a great service. It does not always arrive in Calgary on time, but I don't know how you can guarentee a certain time over that long of a trip when traffic is not consistent.

Worth it though to save on fuel and parking, and to be able to read, sleep, watch a show, or relax and listen to a podcast without having to pay attention to the stop-and-go rush hour traffic.

The buses are always clean, rarely are standing room only, and provide the level of service you would expect from a city our size.

I had a very disappointing experience on Bus number 900, The driver refused to accept my valid 902 bus ticket that’s also a bus of airdrie transit and, instead of explaining the issue, he insulted me with a snide comment: “You’re traveling in the bus, not on top of it.” This kind of demeaning and arrogant behavior is absolutely unacceptable from anyone, let alone a public service employee. His unprofessionalism and lack of basic decency are shocking, and it’s clear he has no respect for the passengers who rely on this service. This incident has left a very negative impression, and I strongly urge the management to take immediate action to prevent this kind of behavior from happening again.

Buses are Never on time.
No benches or shelters seeing how the city thought bike racks were more important than having shelter.
Airdrie transit is an absolute joke, to put it lightly.

***EDIT***

Major improvements have been made since my review.
Shelters and benches have been added, just in time for the freezing temperatures.
Buses are now more or less on time, and drivers do apologize for delays which makes up for it somewhat.
The drivers actually took the time to get to know me and my stops, so I feel very welcomed.

Well, to start off, I had left my place on 130th Ave SE at 6:45am, as I knew I had a doctor's appointment at the medical clinic in Airdrie at 9am. I took the bus 302 and it got me to the Harry Hays building downtown Calgary at 7:37am. The bus to Airdrie was supposed to be at the Harry Hays building for 7:45am. I waited, 7:45am came, no bus, 7:55am, no bus. 8:00am, no bus. So I called and left a message with Airdrie transit. I waited until 8:15am. No bus. I ended taking a $45.00 Uber trip to Airdrie which was totally unacceptable. I'm EXTREMELY upset!!!! I wish to get some sort of retribution as I was EXTREMELY put out by this incident. If things went smoothly, I would've arrived early to the appointment by around 30 minutes. I planned my transit trip yesterday. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬
