The only reason for this rating is because the owner treated myself as a common criminal and making false accusations about the fence on the property which has been bent for 20 years or more.
The owner accused me of hitting the fence and she lied about the entire thing to get an fraudulant insurance claim.
After a heated debate she finally admitted she was wrong.

The staff there I love and they are the only reason I stay there.
The owner is a vindictive bully who tries to prey on people who don't fight back.

Shame on the Aleeda hotel and it's owner.

The staff are the most amazing asset to the hotel but they cannot say anything for fear of being fired by the tyrant.

Friendly staff and comfortable bed. The room was adequately clean. Unfortunately they have a light of a thousand suns blaring directly in the room that no amount of curtain can prevent. There used to be a night club that was out the back so I thought it would be quite now but..no. Some people were partying into the night, Also there was a TV blaring all night from the next room so the sleep was not refreshing. They did welcome our dog for a fee. With a little more Reno's this could be a nice hotel.

The Aleeda is older but it met our needs. Our room was clean, bed were clean and comfortable albeit on the smaller side ( hubby and I are a bit on the larger side). Bathroom was clean. No coffee maker is room but had a kettle so could do instant coffee and tea. Kitchenette was exactly what we needed. Good value for the money.

This is my first time here for work, and honestly I'm in love with this little motel! The staff are so friendly and always have a smile. The rooms are very well put together, beautiful artwork with gorgeous bedding to match. Well lit also! And a beauty view right out your window, especially when it's sunny. Located not too far at all from the harbour and lots more if you want to see what gems Prince Rupert has to offer!😊

It was the only place we could find in short notice for pet friendly. The staff was very nice at the door. And they’re taking their precautions seriously for COVID Which was great to see. Our room had a full mini kitchen with a stove/sink. And the mini fridge was bigger than the average hotel fridge that usually comes with a room. We would definitely stay here again.

What a cute little motel! We stayed at the Aleena over the past week and it didn't disappoint. The kitchenette suites are a life saver - fully outfitted with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and kettle. Having a great grocery store across the street, make this an ideal location. Keep in mind that the suites are a little older, but they are very clean and well maintained. The staff is super friendly and ready to help with directions and suggestions of things to see and do. Overall, a great experience!
