live beside motel too many party's in parking lot very noisy

This studio type room is well-equipped, with good parking and usually quiet. However, I have to do work from home and the wifi was terrible. I spent almost a month there and had to go the local library or a cafe many times. Also there are photos posted on their Facebook that only show 2 of the best rooms - most of the smallest units are very very old and dated.

Great place to stay. We stayed in a cabin with kitchenette. I found the wifi to be excellent, maybe upgraded from earlier reviews. The staff and management were friendly and extremely accommodating. Very clean and well taken care of. Our stay was during winter and parking lot and sidewalks were cleared after every snowfall. Would definitely recommend this motel.

Don't stay here - the cleaning staff is lovely, but the owners are awful and very difficult to deal with. In summer 2020 they changed the terms of rental and raised the rates so much that people who had stayed there 3-5 yrs were forced to leave. I was told last May that the rental I had booked in October for the summer was not available due to renovations. I was told I could find another place but it was too late. I had to stay in a more expensive , noisier unit and it still wasn't ready till the 2 nd week of August. The day before I was due to move in they showed me the new furniture - it was a white leatherette couch and no table/chairs to eat at. I asked for the older furniture back as I have a pet ( this is a small rustic cabin on a river) and told it was gone. They told me the white couch was bought for another unit so I requested the old couch from the other unit and was told it was not possible. I only stayed there 3 weeks. One day I washed my car outside and got a nasty note. I explained that I had seen others washing their cars. The day I left I got a bill for the ENTIRE cost of the furniture because my cat had scratched it. This was furniture I requested not to have. I feel I was set up!!

it's missing so many basics expected in travelling today. I've travelled from the west coast and also from Texas to Canada and most motels today, even small family ones have good high speed wifi. This place doesn't and when I complained I was told not to expect VOIP/skype service. They promote that they have ' high-speed ' wifi. There is also a mini- fridge but no ice tray, a coin laundry but you can't change the heat settings on the dryer, some towels even have holes in them! For long terms stays this is not good enough. Even for a one night stay this is very disappointing.

Such a lovely place to stay. Quiet, clean comfortable and friendly. Rosie and Marisa do an excellent job of cleaning the cabin on a weekly basis. My only regret is I didn’t book it longer as I would have extended my stay but they didn’t have availability. Hope to stay here again next year.

Great place to stay in the soo! The staff is amazing and the place is gorgeous! My room was always perfectly clean and the view from the lake is beautiful! 10/10

Exceptional waterfront location close to the Gold Club and Algoma University. Clean and quiet setting. Well maintained. Great and friendly staff. Reasonable and committed management. Overall an outstanding place to stay in Sault Ste. Marie.
