Motel bien situé à l’entrée de Nelson. Chambre rénovée avec petit coin cuisine très fonctionnel. Literie très bien. Par contre très peu d’espace pour les valises et on entend le bruit de la route en contrebas.||Reste que le tarif est bien abordable.

We stayed in one of their "Kitchen Suite 2" units and had a comfortable experience. The kitchen was one of the better stocked we’ve come across in our travels, with all the basics covered — pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery — and the mini fridge even had a freezer, which was great for refreezing our ice packs.||The suite had air conditioning in the kitchen/sitting area, which helped take the edge off the summer heat, though it would have been even better to have a unit in the bedroom as well. The beds were decent and we slept fairly well. As a family of four, we found the seating a bit limited with only room for two at the table, but that’s a small thing.||The motel offers a guest laundry and BBQ area with picnic tables — nice touches, though we didn’t end up using them. We appreciated the locally sourced coffee from Kootenay Coffee Co. in the room.||Location-wise, it’s in a convenient spot right as you come into Nelson from the south or west. All in all, a good value for the price. We’d stay here again.

The location has easy access from the main road. The rooms were clean and had all the essential amenities. The second room in the suite didn't have an A/C or fan so had to leave the door open most of the time to keep that room cool from the main room's A/C. Had a stove, microwave, mini fridge, and all the cooking utensils in the room. The bathroom was clean too.
There was an issue with the TV and when we informed the front desk, a nice lady came and fixed it. Still, the volume didn't work but we weren't bothered to get it fixed.
When we first arrived at the room, the next room's guests were smoking right in front of our room which we really didn't like because every time when we opened the door the smoke smell came inside. Which was quite unpleasant. When we complained about it they took necessary action for the time being.

What a little gem. Only stayed for one night. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and got in touch immediately after they discovered I had left something in my room. The beds were comfortable and the room extremely clean.

I had a great experience here in Nelson at Alpine Inn. The receptionist for both night and day are both professional, friendly, and accommodating. At some point I had to cut my stay 2 days short due to needing to leave sooner than expected and the person at the front desk was really nice about it. They only charged me for the days I stayed and not for the cancelled days. They didn’t have to do that but they did and it’s greatly appreciated. I needed coins for the coin laundry and the night receptionist was really helpful and nice and changed a $20 bill for coins no problem.
I was also upgraded a room free of charge too which was unexpected and also very nice of them.

The motel is 20-30 min from white water ski resort. If you are planning to ski there at white water alpine inn is definitely worth considering.

In this economy the price reflects the quality.

I would stay here again if I was in Nelson again

Our first night was in one of those rooms that has an optional doorway to the next suite which made noise transfer easy. Once management was aware of it they immediately offered us another room which was to our liking and we enjoyed the balance of our visit. Michael was a great host.

Excellent place to stay! Customer service was amazing, first rate! Newly renovated and remodeled, housekeeping was excellent and had the amenities one would typically expect. Kitchenette, mini fridge, AC, and more.

The exterior is looking a bit shabby, needing either a paint job or major power wash. However, the excellent friendly and welcoming service from Michael and Sylvia makes up for it all. Smiles go a long way in our eyes. Our room had a renovated bathroom, and new carpet in the living area. The two comfy sitting chairs were a pleasant surprise. We really appreciated the new linens, duvets, four mega pillows and the heat worked perfectly. This was our third visit and it's nice to be sleeping in a quiet neighbourhood!
