Alpine Interface is simply the best Guided Hiking Group in the World. We have done two 10 days hikes in the Switzerland and Italy with Apline Interface and they have planned the perfect customized hikes for our group. They know the areas, they customize your trip for what you would like and there customer service is out of this world. We had one hiker get delayed for the start of the trip and they worked tireless to get him to meet us on day 2. Highly recommend these guys, they will plan a trip you will remember for the rest of your life!

We selected Alpine Interface for a small group, self-guided custom Haute Route trip. Louis provided excellent advice in the trip planning. Then Karin put the trip reservations together and was patient with all my emails. Finally, they provided a fantastic trip package, GPX files and maps for navigation, great reservations and full support for our trip. In the middle of the trip, weather and snow caused a re-route. Again, Alpine interface provided support and helped make the re-route a success. I cannot recommend them enough.

We chose Alpine Interface to guide our Haute Route trek in the Swiss Alps last summer. Karin and Louis were professional, knowledgeable, very detail oriented and a pleasure to work with. Karin was very patient during numerous emails and phone calls as she helped us decide on the trek that was right for us and answered all of our questions. She also helped with additional arrangements for the dates surrounding the trek to make our trip comfortable and complete. Our guide, Lindsay was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable, supportive, and safety conscious. She took care of all of the details and beyond to make sure our experience was positive in every way. All of the accommodations were high quality, comfortable and clean and of course in the most beautiful places. I would definitely book future adventures with Alpine Interface. This year (2018), we were in a group of 6 that did a self guided Dolomites Traverse trip with Alpine Interface. This was the second trip that we did with Alpine Interface, the first being the privately guided Haute Route in 2017. Given that we chose them to do the trip in 2018 after using them in 2017 should serve as a strong endorsement, as we were pleased with them in 2017 and again in 2018.

Louis and Karin did an excellent job of putting together a well thought out, appropriate and logistically well planned route for the Dolomites traverse. The trip plans, documents, route options, and accommodations were great and logistics worked well. Most nights the accommodations were quite upscale with great facilities and meals, and the nights that the rooms were going to be more rustic and had shared accommodations, we were well aware of such, and we chose to do so given that Louis and Karin had put a lot of thought on what we wanted to hike and the route options that we had. All the meals were excellent.

If there was a suggestion for improvement (relatively minor), it would be in some of the upfront communication where there is sometimes a lag, but as we worked with Louis and Karin, we were aware that they are very conscientious and have a strong desire to deliver a trip that suits the needs of the group. Again, the strongest endorsement that we can provide is by our actions - we booked with them again in 2018 after using them in 2017. We would also book with them again.
