We just spent two nights at Anavada inn and suites and I must say it was a very enjoyable time! The room was clean and smelled lovely. The bed was super comfy and we had excellent sleeps. The room was equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee machine and there is a community kitchen for use which is a real bonus. The best part was the service, we were greeted with such kindness and they even gave us a better price then booking online. I can't recommend this place enough, I will for sure stay here again when I go back to Prince George. Two enthusiastic thumbs up 😁

Exceptional customer service! Received texts with info and asked for any additional requests we had. Front end staff and housekeeping were friendly and professional and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. While the building is dated and the parking lot needs some TLC, the room was clean and updated. Bed was very comfortable; lots of fluffy pillows; good water pressure; mini fridge and microwave worked and were much appreciated. Overall a great stay and we will look at staying here again for our next PG trip. 😊

Overall a clean and well appointed room. Great location in town. Pet friendly was a bonus for us. Beds in our room (133) were not great. Showing signs of wear. Sagging and soft but not terrible. Front desk was great. The rooms have been updated so that was very nice. I would stay again..budget friendly.

More pros than cons.
Bed is comfortable, room is clean, front desk is friendly. Lots of restaurants near by and Starbucks next door. I liked that parking was right outside the door. So easy to get shopping in and out of the room and also drive off quickly. Not so nice are the super soft and super small pillows and the fact that it is a old motel not a hotel. Toiletries are crap.is competitive to a hotel so not sure if I would return. Could not find TV channels to watch, everything needed a sign in. The area seemed quiet so we liked that. No views!

That was annoying. I paid for a room for my cousin. I called Expedia and made the reservation, gave my credit card. It was paid for. My cousin had an appointment in PG for her kid. I paid for hotels for my cousin before, it's never been an issue. My cousins get there at the hotel front desk and gets turned away because they didn't have my credit card. Again, the hotel charged me, there's a charge on my credit card. Now my cousins had to scramble to find a place. The room is reserved for my cousin, I received an e-receipt in my email with an itinerary number. They have everything they need to get inside the room. But no. Now I'm jumping through hoops to get a refund back, and that is not guaranteed, that's 200 dollars I may not get back. So, warning. Don't make a reservation for family members at Anavada Inn if you don't plan to be there. So stupid. I'll update this review to let you know if I received a refund. So far, all of this has been a nightmare.

Absolutely horrible. We reserved a room days in advance and when we arrived to our room late that night the woman working was absolutely horrible and very rude. She refused to help us at all because we didn’t have a “physical” copy of our credit card with us just the copy on our iPhone wallet. She refused to even try to manually type in our information or use the credit card tap on our phone (which we had previously just done at another hotel with no problems) every time we asked her for help or options she just said “no!” and refused to try to help at all and was very rude and snarky. We had our credit card information and cash to cover the room and deposit but nothing seemed to be okay for her. We asked her if she could at least try to put in our credit card information because we had already reserved the room and it was very late at night. She refused and just said no rudely every time we asked about other options. The reality was she just did not “feel” like doing her job and just said no and refused to even try until we just decided to leave. I would have understood if she had been polite but it’s the fact she was absolutely horrible and rude. We ended up going to the Hyatt which even though it was almost completely full they were so helpful and kind, with lots of searching they managed to find us a room and had absolutely no problems taking out credit card information manually. They had the absolute best costumer service. I would happily pay an extra hundred dollars to never deal with the staff at the Anavada ever again. Worst customer service at a hotel we have ever experienced at the Anavada and we will not be returning

The room was very clean and we were treated well. The front desk person was very friendly and accommodating.
We ordered food from the adjoining restaurant and the meal was hot and delicious. They also delivered it to our room.
Only complaint I had is the bed I slept in was hard as rock, but the pillows were fluffy. But, I guess you can't have everything.
Overall I would stay here again in the future.

The rooms are what you’d expect from a motel BUT after staying in three expensive hotels this week, Anavada had the comfiest bed and pillows by far! They were also the only place I stayed in that had a way for me to sign into Netflix and Prime (something I was really missing while stuck in hotels all week).

On top of it, their staff are awesome. Friendly, happy, everyone actually looked like they were enjoying their jobs - including the cleaning girls that I stopped and laughed with for a minute.

We felt very comfortable there, more so than anywhere else I stayed this week while traveling for conferences.
