I would first like to start off by thanking the staff at Ancaster Legacy Football Club. We are pretty new to this club and have had nothing but open communication, great coaching and provided with an excellent environment for my son to succeed.

First I would like to mention Murad Sukru, he’s been such a stand up guy and very approachable for my son Luca and I with any questions or concerns we have had. He has been very supportive and attentive to anything that has come up and helped guide us in the right direction. I encourage anyone with any questions to speak with him as you will find out he cares about our kids and his club! Murad is an excellent technical director!

Second is coach Ricardo, he has been my son Lucas coach in skills training. You can tell he is an excellent soccer player, loves and knows the game well! He’s very caring and understanding yet firm when he needs to be. Coach Ricardo is someone anyone looking to improve in soccer can learn a great deal from and should value his time and experience. His versatility when teaching different age groups is by far the best I’ve seen yet.

Third, Coach Padraic… He is my sons U8 coach and is awesome with our young up and comers in the game. He’s very clear about what he expects from his players, he has excellent communication skills in explaining what he wants to see or have his players do and most of all very patient and understanding. Coach P clearly loves the game, our kids and the passion to teach. I coach my son on our off days and it’s not an easy task with just one kid.

In short, I’ve played Rep soccer my entire youth and have been around the block. We are very happy to call Ancaster Legacy our home and look forward to the great things to come. I would recommend anyone looking for a club to check out the values this club holds. Luca and I thank you all for your time spent with us and your experience that you are passing along. Great job guys!

I don't recommend Ancaster Legacy rep soccer team for anyone who has a passion for soccer and is looking to excel or strengthen their soccer skills. My son played for the 2023-24 Ancaster Legacy Competitive Soccer Ancaster Legacy Jrs. U8 Boys which in my opinion is far from being a competitive rep soccer team and moreso a house league. I didn't find my son learned much this season and he was too advanced for this league. A lot of the other children on the team were not on his level, so I am not sure how they select players for this "rep, competitive" team. My son found it very frustrating and did not want to go by the end of the season. The coaching was done by parent volunteers who have little to no experience coaching soccer which is rediculous (not blaming the coaches but rather the organization). I was extremely disappointed that I did not get the quality I expected for the money I had paid. I felt like they just wanted my money and are advertising as a higher level soccer league but are rather more of a house league. However, they did run a good goal keeping clinic by experienced goalies which my son learned a lot from.

I rented the indoor soccer turf on a cold rainy January Saturday evening at about -6C. The Club did not pre-inform us that there were heating issues (even though the issues had existed for a while) prior to the event but we only found out when we walked in to the reception. So my guests and I were not prepared for the freezing turf for our football birthday party

What a horrid team. Not even a team really. Coaches pick faves and only play 5 of the same kids
Coaches are disrespecting to the parents that’s stand up for their kids.

Horrible. The 2.5 star says it all. Dislocated my shoulder in a match run by Ancaster Soccer Club. No accident report was done, took about 2 weeks of chasing them to receive any info about insurance. Emailed the vice president twice, and have still not received a response to this day. This is NOT how your run a league. I will be telling everyone I know n!t to involve themselves with your club. I have been playing soccer for over 20 years, and this by far has been the worst experience I've ever had in the sport. Good riddance!

Ancaster Soccer provided a wonderful program for my 5 kids to play in! I always enjoy the coaches we get and the interactions we have with their staff. Definitely recommend!!!
