School board needs an overhaul they protect abusive staff and sweep all concerns under the rug. I would give less stars if I could. The valley used to be a great place to raise children but if your child has special needs here I would look elsewhere.

Absolute dumpster fire. Can't be bothered to fall in line with all the other school boards in the province and cancel school in advance after a monumental snow fall. Their tardiness fuels chaos in homes and offers parents little to no chance to proactively make arrangements for their children. Shame on this superintendent, shame on this school board. We deserve better.

Being a multinational student in the AVRCE school system, years ago. I was often ridiculed, mocked, and teased by teachers and students due to my nationality. This was done in plain view.

students are NOT learning ANYTHING useful! Why does my 10yo step son not know how to type on a computer? And instead uses voice to text for everything? Why did he learn about PRIDE (which he is constantly confused about all the different name now) BEFORE puberty? Why can't he sound things out? Why can't he count without using his fingers? WHY can't he remember the months of the year? WHY is he NOT learning how to use a ruler or what different measurements are?! This School Board is FAILING the children.

Terrable expirance dealing with this school board I would give them -5stars if I could. My opinion couldn't be lower when a school board supports staff who assaulted my special needs daughter. They protect themselves first and really don't care about the children at all.

Seems to me this school board protects their employees and not the students in their care. I have several complaints not being addressed properly and no open results which means they deal with complaints internally.

Disgusting school - school is in tatters, rubbish everywhere, kids allowed to run rampant as there is zero discipline. Principal and vice-principal should be ashamed of themselves. Absolute joke!
