I bought a pair of waterproof running shoes from this store 4 months ago and then I noticed that the corner of the shoe was torn. After going to the store they said I had to email a picture of the shoe which I did. After about 3 weeks they told me that you used the shoe a lot and it is no longer covered by the warranty and we can only give you $60 for your next purchase. My question is how is it possible that a shoe with such a relatively expensive price and with all the advertising in terms of quality can tear so soon, and the important thing is that the customer service is very poor and at the lowest level. Anyway I will not buy from this brand again because I think I threw my money in the trash. The bigger reason is that they do not care about customer satisfaction at all and I do not recommend using this brand at all.

Not very happy about the new return policy or explanation here at the Burnaby Metrotown location - not sure if it's across all stores now.
Basically, I was refused a return of a brand new backpack within 2 weeks of purchase date in the receipt, although it was in brand new condition with the tag included just not attached by the usual string (I may have untied the string when trying it on at home).
It's interesting because a few years ago I know this was not the case.
This sort of detail should really be clarified/highlighted to the customer at the time of purchase not just printed in a tiny letters at the bottom of the receipt.
Coming from retail I know this is not the norm with other brands, and they are more felxible and customer friendly.

Unfortunately not my usual in store experience, the single worst arc store i have been in. Staff was poor, the one lady helping us was pushy with attitude (short, chubby, asian lady with glasses, dark hair. same as all the other reviews). We tried on a thorium for size. We first clearly prefaced we just wanted sizing for a potential future order, in a specific colour, that they didn't have in store, so we couldn't see that colour on. She pressed us to buy it in a completely different colour multiple times, then to order it in store. Never had this happen in a store before and will not be returning to this location. Have always had chill and inviting time in most Arc stores, with very nice staff. Apart from that, standard items here as per any of the other small stores, no clearance items if your curious.

We went into the store to look at the products, and we bought a t-shirt. When we were leaving, my husband told me that when he entered, the one who looked like the manager immediately said to him, “Are you going to buy something, or did you just come in to walk around?” His attitude is very offensive, discriminatory, and classist, a terrible way to treat customers. In contrast, one of the sales assistants treated us with complete kindness.

Frustrating Experience with Arc'teryx's Free Gear Washing Service
I'm writing to express my disappointment with the Arc'teryx store's "ReCAREℱ Wash Week" event. I came in on two separate days based on what staff told me, and both times my request was denied.
I first visited the store at 8 PM on September 9th to drop off my jacket for the complimentary GORE-TEX wash. A staff member checked with manager told me it was too late and asked me to return the next morning before noon, which I confirmed with them.
Today, September 10th, I arrived at 10 AM, well before the noon deadline I was given. However, a different staff member told me the they stopped to accept it.This is incredibly frustrating. It feels like a bait-and-switch, and the inconsistent information from your team is unacceptable. This kind of consumer experience damages brand reputation.

I called ahead and was told to come the next day for the free wash week event. When I showed up, the representative said they were no longer accepting items. Very frustrating and a waste of time—poor communication and organization.

We usually go to go to Coquitlam store. Last weekend we went and this Chinese girl with glasses was so rude and she didn’t even bother to grab our sizes and refused to check for other store inventory.

Joseph was super nice, friendly, and very helpful. I definitely would like to come back and shop here. I couldn’t ask for better customer service.
