Came for my son's wedding in November in Botwood. Very convenient location. The owners Holly and Shawn are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Lovely cabin with stove fridge microwave coffee pot and dishes cutlery pots and pans, tv. There is a lovely large Pavillion that is closed in that you can have a get together with friends and family with a huge bbq, propane heaters, fire pit to use. Good wifi signal, no issues. Cable TV, good choice of channels
Lovely spot, would be great in summer with a river running through it.
If you are looking for 5 star luxurious hotel this is not it but if you want a comfortable family friendly motel with great hosts in a quiet area close to Botwood where you have all the conveniences of home this is your place. Our ferry home was delayed due to bad weather and Holly and Shawn were very accommodating in letting us check out later than normal which was very much appreciated. Only downfall is bathroom is very small. Units are very clean and have been updated, laminate floors, fresh paint. Would I stay here again. Yes without any doubt. When I next come this is where we will stay again.

This is my third time in four years staying at the Oasis Cottages and I have to say, left there feeling all my needs were met. Holly and Shawn are great owners/host and go out of their way to make sure you are looked after. As a matter of fact, they spend time with their guess making sure you are good before they go home at night. Nice touch!!!! ||The cottages and grounds are very very clean, comfortable beds and stocked with all the amenities if you are cooking your own meals. They provide a great area for larger gathering which has BBQ, fridge, tables and a propane heater if needed.||If you are looking for a relaxing evening and just want to listen to nature and the sound of the river, I suggest you take a walk down the hill and sit on the benches provided by the host and enjoy that quiet time. Again, very well maintained.||I have read some reviews about the sporty Wifi as it is hit or miss at times. That has nothing to do with the cottages, that is an issue across the Island so don’t sweat that, as there are plenty of things to do.||I could go on and on about the great experience we had, but rather than do that, I suggest you go find out yourself.||Thanks Holly and Shawn, looking forward to my next stay!!!

Our family had a great 3 days at these cabins during the August long weekend in 2025. The cabins were clean, comfortable, well situated between Botwood and Peterview and most importantly the owners ( Sean and Holly) were great hosts. The cabins had a mix between families, seniors and workers and all were courteous and friendly. Sean and his sisters even cooked us a fantastic fish dinner! It was delicious and very much appreciated:)
Hoping to see you folks again next year.

Wonderful place to stay in central N.L. Holly was more than accommodating and the cabin was super clean and comfortable.

Our cabin was refreshed with a very nice shower stall, kitchen backsplash with new flooring and fresh paint in every room. The location was perfect for our needs with easy access to Botwood and Northern Arm. The owners are so very friendly, welcoming and accommodating!!

We conveniently parked right in front of our cabin. There is a covered front porch with a garden bench.

The front room includes the den, dining table and kitchen. The kitchen has a refrigerator, an electric range with 4 burners and a good sized oven, a microwave, a toaster, dishes and flatware for four, mixing bowls, a medium sized sauce pan, 2 big pots and cooking utensils/knives. There was salt and pepper, dish soap, a kitchen trowel and a dish rack. For hot beverages there is a 5-cup coffee pot which uses small round filters and a kettle for hot water. Be sure to bring your favorite loose-ground coffee with filters and/or your favorite tea bags plus whatever sweeteners/creamers you like. And bring paper napkins/towels if you need them. There is a nice propane grill just beside the front porch that was ours to use, shared with the nextdoor cabin.

The dining table seats 4 and there is a wall-mounted TV and a sofa.

The bedrooms had comfortable beds with nice sheets, bedspreads and blankets.

The bathroom had a bottle of hand soap at the sink and nice bath towels, hand towels and washcloths.

The cabin was warm a few of the days of our stay, but it cooled off very nicely each night. There were 2 small fans that helped make things more comfortable.

There is a wonderful little covered pavilion on the grounds and access to a creek for swimming. There is also a swing set with plenty of room for running and playing!

Bottom line: this is a great place for ANY length stay and for ANY size group, from couples to big reunions!! And the owners are THE BEST!!! We definitely recommend staying here!!!

We went to botwood for a conference with agape Christian church. (We were going to stay in another local place but it was actually disgusting) we showed up at the oasis and the owner was very friendly. She was just about to leave for the weekend but she was kind enough to listen to us and show us a beautiful 2 bedroom cottage. It was so clean and beautiful. The bed were fabulous. The outside was beautiful. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back. And now I know of a little get away in Newfoundland

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Oasis this past summer.
They have recently finished renovations on all the rooms/cabins.
The cabins are simply stunning and it feels like a home away from home.
All the cabins come with all the comforts of home, from a full functioning kitchen right on up to cable TV.
I really just wanted to move in and stay, that is how comfortable I was.
The beds and linens are top of the line and extremely comfortable.
They also have laundry on site which makes it even more convenient when you're traveling.
Staying here was 10 times better than staying in a hotel.
There will be no other place we stay when I'm in central Newfoundland.
I saved the best for last as the owners are one of the nicest people you will ever meet. They made us feel welcome and wanted every day of our stay.
They are truly one of the kindest giving wonderful people we have ever met.
We are truly blessed to have met them.
