I use the express drop off for years. I used to live in the coast. I have never had issues with the express drop off. Since moving to Armstrong, and using the express drop off, I continually get flagged for having items in my drop offs. I have check all items are correct and only have 10 glass per bag. I'm not sure if it just me or are other people have issues being flagged unjustly. My account has already been suspended once. Last drop off on August 9th I meticulously checked for any non refundable items in my bags. I still received a notice saying there was item in the bag. "Details for your last express
Packaging:
Examples: plastic rings for 6-pack, clam shell, cardboard boxes, wrap and additional packaging" How do I get this to stop?

Went to the bottle depot at 3:00 and never got going to after 3:30 to understand what they needed. Still had some more bottles to sort but they kicked me out at 4:01! Never got the bottles finished and when your trying to recycle and not waste gas and resources
not sure if this will be worth recycling here

Was treated on numerous occasions like it was a huge inconvenience to take my refundables. Quick drop will only allow 6 bags, certain sizes, and turned me away when I had 8 bags, and another time when I had bags too big. Then out of spite posted negative warnings on my quick drop account (have never ever had an issue with any other depot or Kelowna’s quick drop). Seems you just can’t please that guy! Hopefully he finds something he likes doing ..

I rarely leave reviews but hate getting ripped off. The last two times I have dropped three bags off in the express bin and I have only been credited for two of the bags. Avoid

Don’t know what happened to this place. Even for a busy Saturday morning, it was a hellish nightmare. The man working there was extremely rude. demanding us to go where he wanted. It’s really a shame that this place has fallen apart. It’s the only bottle depot which is in a short distance from my home. Would not recommend. Had to end up leaving bottles in the donation bin as service was horrendous.

Probably should have just read the reviews and went to west Kelowna instead of this place, rude big guy, told me where to put my bottles and as I was putting away my cart he stormed over and started firing my bags into the express window which is so convenient considering express doesn’t allow broken glass. So now my account has a flag on it. Won’t be going back there, will drive the extra 20 minutes to West Kelowna express.
I don’t know if he is just like that or if he’s just rude to women. Who knows.

I didn't realize I was late. Guy came out and yelled at me before I got to the door, while letting someone else in. and said, ma'am we are closed and I have people waiting. And was definitely annoyed. I didn't have much. They were all sorted into 12 packs already. And i was carrying all i had. It would have been fast to ring me through. Otherwise I have always had a good experience here. I guess that guy was ticked off at people showing up late on a Friday night. I got back to my truck and it was 4.01. So I was a minute late. I think the the hours are unreasonable 9.30-4 and closed on Sunday. I've shown up at 9.15 because every other business in town has at least 9 -5 hrs. Don't the people who run this place realize that others who work regular hours full time only have one day out of the weekend (Saturday) to go in?

Bad service, they don’t refund the full amount, I would NEVER go to Armstrong bottle depot again! Very rude and treated as if they were doing me a favour by taking my bottles back, they charge 5cents per bottle/can because of transportation to wherever. I usually save up my bottles and take a truck load in and it was as if i had to many bottles for them and I got ripped off!
