Minus: Looks old, floors are worn, carpets stained. Faint cigarette burns in sink. Old smoke smell in hallways. Heat difficult to adjust. Walls are thin. Plus: Room was clean, large, bright. King size bed was clean and comfortable. Has fridge and microwave. Service very friendly. Plenty of parking (included in price). Close to Hess Village and other night life. Good value for the price.

My husband and I checked in here last Saturday night around 11:30, mostly out of necessity as we were in town for the weekend and had not yet made arrangements for our accommodation.||||It cost us 105 dollars and truthfully, if we had had other options, I would have walked out of there. The "non-smoking" room we had on the third floor was dirty, reeked of cigarette smoke and the carpet had cigarette burns and believe it or not, the imprint of an iron in one area.||||The bathroom was grungy, the toilet had hair on it and the sink was old and cracked. I spent half an hour inspecting the sheets before I got into the bed and believe me, that was a first for me. ||||The whole place has a bit of a crack hotel feel about it, right down to the two potential guests/regulars making out at the front desk and us having to convince the night receptionist to lock the side door because he forgot to.||||It suited what we needed and honestly, we're not that fussy, but I was happy as heck to get out of there the next morning.||||It should be priced at around 60 dollars and even then, they still need to clean up the place a bit.

I stayed here a month not be choice. When I first arrived and went to my room there was a fight taking place infront of my door. Once I was able to get in i was hit by a nasty smell. The first morning when I wo up, looking at the ceiling there where dust bunnies hanging from it. I ended up going to a store and buying my own cleaning products to clean my room thoroughly myself; since I was stuck there for a month. Some nights or late afternoon you could hear other guest having sex. I was nervous to call home to talk to my kids worried they could hear them. The internet was nonexistent in my room and was forced to sit in the lobby with tones of distractions to do my studies. Weekends I would try my best to make arrangements to get out of there because they rent rooms by the hour. Definitely wouldn't bring my family there.

When I stayed at this Hotel the "Arrival Inn" on Main St. In Hamilton downtown I stayed with my boyfriend Vito for one week and I payed the Owner (a man, he was always at the front desk)$100.00 dollars everyday by 11am. He gave me NO CHANGE. A few days my boyfriend Vito went down to pay, cause I wasn't ready and they would CALL SHARP by 11am. So Vito would go pay. I would give him $100.00 dollars cause that's what I needed. The day we left Vito had to see the Owner at the front desk, I asked him why? He said that he owed him change from the $100.00 dollars from the other day. I said no hunny it's a hundred even. He said "What!' No it's not Vito said. Vito said that it was $77.00 dollars a night plus tax. So it came to $82 OR $84? He wasn't||Sure how much? But he knew he got ten dollars and some change back. He told me that every time he paid the Owner or his Wife that that's what he paid! So they NEVER GAVE ME MY CHANGE!! I STAYED 2.WEEKS!!! That's OVER $160.00 dollars that THEY OWE ME"! Owe ya and the PICTURE that you see is HILARIOUS!! The rooms are NOTHING like that at all...AT ALL! The rooms are in such bad.shape...the bathrooms are really bad. If they have a nice room they are saving it for themselves or relatives? |||| .

When I checked into the "ARRIVAL INN" at 175 Main Street in Hamilton, Ontario, I paid $120. FOR A NIGHT! I HAD to give a $100 dollar deposit (They did not give back). I stayed only 2 days but I needed a room for 2 weeks. I went through 7 rooms! EVERY ROOM SMELLED LIKE DOG POOH and PEE! Also EVERY BED was LOPSIDED. I needed a chiropracter the next morning. They would only give me 2 towels (saying that if they gave me another towel other guests would not have one?) They did not have room service and the pop machines were ALL BROKEN (ate your money). THE ICE MACHINE was in the basement? I RAN OUT of toilette paper, it took over a hour to get a roll of toilette paper! The maid SKIPPED my room, I had garbage that needed to be taken out, I had to take out my own garbage, MAKE MY OWN BED! The Owners left the Vacuum cleaner for me to VACUMM MYSELF? I had to let the water run for an HOUR BEFORE I COULD SHOWER, BECAUSE "NO HOT WATER" also in one room they put me it was COLDER THAN OUTSIDE, the heater was broken? SO they made me go to another room. Also thed paint was PEELING of the WALLS! so DISGUSTING! oh ya - in one room we had no LIGHT BULBS? They blamed that on the FUSES? So I was literally in the "Dark" This HOTEL NEEDS MAJOR RENOVATIONS!!!! IT IS NOT FIT FOR A COCHROACH!!!!!!!!

This is the most disgusting hotel I have been to in the city . If I could give 0 stars I would , the room was horrible stains on the ceiling the bathroom was disgusting with cigarette burns every where. We asked for clean towels around 10 pm and was told that we couldn't have because they can only be requested the following morning. Nothing works not even the guy at the front desk , when he was asked a question his reply was "I don't know I only work the front desk". Horrible experience that is unless you were looking for the seediest most dirtiest place in Hamilton then this is the place for you!

I had to park on the other side of the street because there wasn't a parking spot for my truck and trailer. On are way up the stairs (elevator was broken) on the third floor a aroma of urine and weed hit are noses. got inside the room which was musty. There was a hole in the bathroom wall as well as the wall paper was riped in multiple spots. In one of the spots it was fixed with staples. The chair had a sag in the middle which looked like someone had jumped on it multiple times and broke it. There were cigarette burns everywhere including the carpet, chair, bed sheets, and toilet lid. On the ceiling there was what looked like mold at first but wasn't it was just a half inch of dust that collected from the air conditioning unit. When I went to sleep the undersheet on the bed was extremely pilled. I found a used paper towel under one of the pillows. When I went to take a shower the hot water was the opposite of what it said it was ( hot was cold cold was hot). The hot water took almost a 2 minutes to kick in. Worse motel I stayed in by a long shot. The motel attendent was very nice and greeted us on the way out. I didn't even tell them how bad the room was because it would be impossible for them not to already know. Should have walked out right after we walked in. I took pictures of everything because it sounds like something from a movie.

I went in the door and smelled mold mixed with some sort of other burnt smell and heard the lady at the desk say over a hundred a night, turned around and left. Can stay nicer places then that dump for that kind of money. Who knows what you might wake up with there.
