L'accueil par les jeunes propriétaires était très chaleureuse. Ils nous ont donné de bons conseils pour les activités et les restos à ne pas manquer à Halifax. Ils ont même organisé une sortie spéciale pour plusieurs des invités pour manger du homard au bord du quai. La chambre Royale est très romantique. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux. ||||Un petit bijou!

Avons été très déçu mon épouse et moi.||Mobilier totalement dépareillé , breakfast de type "paysan Polonais" (lourd et pas très frais ), ....||Le jeune couple donne l impression que tout est possible mais qd on demande qqchose de précis alors justement ce jour la c est impossible ! Un amateurisme total pour des gens qui manifestement veulent faire un max de fric avec leur B&B pour un minimum de costs.||A déconseiller.

Très belle maison ancestrale .Belles pièces intérieures.
Des hôtes très accueillants ,très accommodants dynamiques.
Nous demandent ce qu'on veut pour déjeuner, rien d'imposer .

I would never describe this B&B as "fancy," but I don't consider that to be a negative. Ultimately, the rooms were clean, the breakfasts were excellent, and the owners were extremely friendly. Communication with them leading up to our stay was great, and they were great hosts during our time there. Their daughter was super nice and made fast friends with my children!

The location was good, although I'd recommend you have a car for the short drive to downtown Halifax. There are several bus stops close by, but we never used them.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend this B&B to anyone who wants a clean place to stay, a great breakfast, and conversation with two very friendly owner/operators.

Getting ready to turn in on our last night at this wonderful and charming B&B. We came upon it quite by accident, as we had been booked at another place. There had been an electrical problem and the manager was able to call and place us here. Dan and Catherine are just so engaging, endearing and great hosts. Our room was just awesome, the breakfasts were excellent, lots of great laughs and help from Dan with the TV and directions. We are so glad our other reservation did not work out. We fell in love with this place right off and will definitely stay here on our next trip to Halifax...to Dan and Catherine, our most excellent and charming hosts...thank you!!!!!!! Linda and Ed

This place is a TOTAL SCAM! The room was dirty, the owners were drunk, their kid ran around in dirty diapers, and when we decided to leave without choosing to stay there ( even though we had paid), the owner basically harassed us and screamed at us for leaving. This was the worst B&B experience I have ever had. Please — read the negative reviews (the positive reviews all seem to be local and therefore from their friends) and realize that this is a HORRIBLE place to stay!!

I did not sleep in the B&B. I left as soon as I could, I slept in my car and never came back. The inner sheets and pillows had not been washed, with human hair and mice poop, the towels smelled bad, the floors had not been cleaned, and mice pee stains were everywhere. Empty shampoo and body soap dispensers. Not only was there someone self-quarantining in a room nearby, the woman owner coughed several times and her husband talked to me without a mask. They lived upstairs and could be heard, and so could the mice. I was horrified by the experience. I did not confront the owners because they were decently nice and the only thing I would have wanted was a refund. My credit card just got charged $68, which the owner said was cheap for a renovating suite. Whether due to covid or not, it was $68 thrown away for an inhospitable place.

The owner said they would close this suite to fix it. I just want a refund, an apology--a moral response to this borderline traumatic experience .

Booked this Air BnB through the website. Terrible customer service received. Attended the location on the date we booked to be faced with “Closed” signs all over the property and notices saying that they are not honouring AirBnB bookings. Absolutely horrific customer service. What a way to ruin a weekend trip with people travelling from across the maritimes. This left our entire group without a place to stay at incredibly short notice. At least have the guts to contact people who have booked if you don’t plan on honouring their payment. Efforts were made to reach out to the owners prior to arriving however they did not get back to us. Don’t book here. Use your money elsewhere unless you enjoy getting ripped off.
