We were visiting Halifax for a day before flying home and decided to stay at Autumn Leaves B&B. I knew that the B&B isn't in Halifax, but what I didn't know that in order to get to Dartmouth, you need to pay $1 toll. It's not bad, but it would have been nice to know, considering you will be paying everytime you travel between Halifax and Dartmouth. ||||The place was clean and room okay too. We had to share the bathroom with one other couple. Which was okay. The owner was ok too. This was probably the 6th B&B we had stayed at during this trip, and at no other B&B we were told kitchen is not included in the B&B. Not that at any other places we were in the kitchen, but found a little odd.

This was one of our favourite stays. The host Audrey was very welcoming and interesting to talk to. the room was clean as was all the house facilities offered to us. The breakfast was very good. From here we were able to walk to the Mic Mac restaurant for a great meal. It is a ten minute drive to the ferry over to halifax. There is parking available at the ferry that is free at the weekend.

This place has 3 rooms with a shared bathroom. It doesn't have wifi, however that's not a problem as the library has computers available and is just minutes away in Dartmouth. The place is conveniently located with a good restaurant within walking distance. There is a comfortable lounge area with a TV and a back porch, both of which have plenty of seating for the guests. Breakfast consists of eggs & toast, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, coffee, and tea. The lady who owns the place is a very good hostess and goes out of her way to accommodate the guests who stay there. This is a good place to stay if one is ever in the area. Dartmouth is minutes away and one can take the ferry to Halifax or drive across the bridge.

My wife & I needed accommodation on the night of, and most B&B's around Halifax were fully booked. One of the No Vacancy B&B's recommended we call Audrey at Autumn Leaves. We got lucky as Audrey originally wasn't planning on hosting that night due to renovations, but she got it done early in the day and accepted us. Normally, she accommodates 2 rooms (shared bathroom and guest area) but we were the only guests that night so the privacy was great. The bedroom was cozy and very clean, as was the bathroom. The guest area was spacious and comfortable. Wifi was solid. Overall great value for the price. Nearby restaurant (MicMac Bar & Grill) was fantastic. The highlight of the B&B was Audrey. She was very accommodating and was a pleasure to talk to; one of the most lovely person we met on our trip!

We stayed at Autumn Leaves for 2 nights and Audrey was very welcoming and friendly. The accomodation was excellent and spotless. The breakfast was fantastic and we have booked again for our return to Dartmouth before we go back to the UK. Visiting relatives in Dartmouth made the location great for us. I can see why the reviews are so good and I recommend this B&B

Delightful hostess. Great location with one of the best restaurants and breweries in town a block away.Taking the ferry to Halifax is interesting and there is free ferry parking after 6 pm. Good way to see Halifax is to stay in Dartmouth.

Spent only one night and headed to Halifax for the greater part of a day. Our hostess was gracious and caring. We enjoyed the company of another couple staying, as our family was, for the one night.||Having the one bathroom between five people makes it a concern about being up early and quickly getting ready for the sake of the other guests.||It was a comfortable experience and reasonably priced for us because we needed two rooms.

Stayed here for 1 night on 30 Oct 12. It's a charming house with a nice living/dining area. The room is clean and comfortable. The host Audrey is friendly. She even gave us candies before we depart as it was Halloween. Good breakfast. Only issue is no internet access. However, I managed to tap from an unknown open hotspot. For the price paid, value for money
