I had a wonderful stay here with my friend. The mountain suite was really cozy and also had a lot of space for 2 people. The breakfasts served were amazing and Roger did a fantastic job accommodating my dietary restrictions. This was really a hidden gem in Canmore.

The exceptional reviews are all well deserved. The best b and b experience I have had in Canmore over thirty years. The home is beautiful, very tastefully and interestingly decorated and most inviting. The sunroom for breakfasts is extraordinary. It brings the beauty of the backyard location inside. Being able to use and relax on the main floor made my stay here very comfortable and special. The morning breakfast choices were healthy, and very enjoyable. Roger is a wonderful host by any measure. Very helpful and knowledgeable about Canmore and recreation opportunities. Very engaging and easy conversation. For a B and B experience, it doesn't get any better than here. Slainte to my host Roger. Hope to see you again and toast your good health in proper form over a pint.

Bally rock home is a large home surrounded by mountains.||We stayed in the mountain suite on the top floor. It’s a large, tastefully decorated space with a nice seating area, dining table for 2, king sized bed, side table and a large dresser. It had lots of closet space as well and a big Tv along with plenty of touristy reading material. ||There was a small deck outside with a patio table, chairs and umbrellas- perfect for our evening food and drinks while taking in the mountains.||The bathroom was spacious with a mini fridge stocked with water bottles which we didn’t use as we weren’t sure. The bathtub had a jacuzzi tub with a hand held shower and quality soaps, towels and bathrobes for us to use.||The top suite is a bright room with plenty of natural light. But there were blinds to block out the light when we needed. It got warm on the top but we slept with the patio door open( there is a screen) and used the fan for air circulation.| |The downstairs space is beautiful with access to the yard and deck and another large suite and fully equipped kitchen. We didn’t do any cooking- just heated food and used utensils and cleaning supplies.||There were other guests who occupied the downstairs suite, so we didn’t use the common sitting area to allow for social distancing.||Breakfast each day was delicious, freshly prepared and different. ||Even though it was Covid times, it was perfectly safe and spotlessly clean with different timings for breakfast to avoid guests mixing.||The only drawback is the flight of stairs to the top if you have suitcases to lug. And the wifi, which at times was a bit spotty.| |Otherwise it’s a wonderful place to base ourselves in Canmore. Wouldn’t hesitate to back there again.

A wonderful place to spend a few days. It's the house you'd want to retire to. Lots of comfy chairs to sit in and gaze at nature that's all around the place. Saw a couple of deer crossing the road in front of the house. The host was a pleasure to be around. He served a great breakfast each day, every one different. A well equipped kitchen if you want to prepare your own lunch or supper.

We had a fantastic stay at Roger's B&B. The house, and in particular our room, was clean, spacious, well furnished and a unique place to stay. Breakfast was very nice and varied. Roger was very friendly and accommodating and communicated very well. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in the Canmore/Banff area.

A lovely stay at Roger’s Home. Very cozy and comfortable stay. Roger is a very nice human, took good care of us while we stayed and fed us lovely breakfast.
The place itself is very nicely decorated. You won’t feel you’re in a BnB, it feels like home.

Roger, the host, is such an amazing gentlemen. And his wooden house is very tidy and lovely equipped with everything we need during stay. I will be back. Take care of your health!
