It's clear that this motel is quite old, complete with a musty mold smell and grime. It feels like a scam. I booked a three-night stay through Vrbo, only to find out the address listed is incorrect—likely because the owner wants to avoid negative Google reviews. The stay cost me $800, but I only endured one night. It was unbearable. My husband and I tried to settle in, but the sofa was broken, and we found hair on it and in the bed. Even the wine glasses were dirty, with dried wine and lipstick marks still on them. The pervasive mold odor made it impossible to sleep. Even my dog was miserable, unsettled by the smell and the noise. The walls are paper-thin, letting every sound through. After just one night, we had to leave. Now my vacation is ruined—I'm out of a room and out of money. Vrbo takes their cut, the building owner profits, and here I am, left with nothing. As a client, what rights do I have?

We were put in the lovely suite at the back overlooking the pool. Very spacious deck with a bbq. Comfy bed and nice big shower. Great to have everything needed for coffee and a nice working fridge and freezer. We forgot our towels overnight on the deck and they got soaked from an unexpected rainfall. Annette kindly dried them for us in her dryer. HIghly recommend for a friendly, relaxing stay in the Bayfield area.

We stayed for 2 nights. The rooms are super clean with lovely fully equipped kitchenettes. Very comfortable beds with superior linens. Our suite has a beautiful deck with BBQ patio set close to the newly renovated pool. Very quiet and tranquil atmosphere. Wonderful shopping all around, close to Grand Bend and Goderich. The owners are super accommodating and friendly. Love this place and highly recommend it. Can't wait to come back

We needed a room as our reservation elsewhere fell through. We were driving along when we saw this motel. The owner Annette set us up in I think it was room 2 or 3. We were really happy with the room so we booked a second night knowing we would have to move in the morning as our room was booked already. We had a swim in their pool which was clean and refreshing. Second day we stayed in room 5. Annette was helpful and accommodating going above and beyond for us. They (Annette and her husband) take pride in their little updated motel and it shows! ||All rooms have kitchens fully stocked, such comfortable beds!! Om my gosh! Amazing! The bathrooms have great showers. They each have living spaces with wifi and satellite TVs. Each unit also has chairs outside and its own yard space out in front of the units as well as BBQs. Unit 5 has patio doors facing the back of the motel looking at the pool area with its own large private deck. ||Bottom line? We will definitely stay again if in the area!

Very nice owners! And the rooms are very clean! The rooms have a full kitchen will stove and full size fridge. As well us pots and pans, plates and glasses, silverware and a bottle and can opener, a toaster and dish soap! The showers are Very nice as well. Beds are comfortable and overall we are very pleased! Pool looks clean as well and we are happy there are barbeques! We will deffinetly be back and highly recommend!

We spent two nights in unit 6. We loved our stay. There is a full kitchen with full size fridge, stove, coffee maker, microwave, etc. There is a King size comfortable bed in a separate bedroom and a living room with a fireplace (for stays in the colder months). The wrap around porch was great to sit and have a drink. We did not use it but this unit has it's own barbecue. Who could ask for anything more. Annett and Andy were welcoming and friendly hosts. We have already booked for our next stay at this great little hidden gem.

Just wanted to Thank you for the wonderful time our family had this past Canada Day weekend. The kids really enjoyed the pool, and being able to have campfires in the evenings.||||The rooms are very clean and spacious, and every room has a kitchen I believe. We prepared some snacks for the kids and ourselves which made this convenient and a money saver.||||During our stay we visited Bayfield, Goderich and Grand Bend. Bayfield is only a few minutes away while the others are 15-20 mins of picturesque driving. So we really didn't mind the driving.||||The kids like Grand Bend the best, the beach was very busy and they got to eat Ice Cream.||||Thanks again, see you next Summer.

We stayed July 2 to the 4 2020. We had a great stay loved the pool and barbecues. Very clean rooms and very comfortable mattresses. Definitely recommended by this group. Thanks Annette for a wonderful time. See you soon.
