We stayed for 1 night as a family of 5, to take our kids to WEM waterpark and have a mall adventure. We got the loft room with 1 king and 2 queens with a sofa bed. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great and our room was perfect! The room was very well priced, lots of space and very clean! Our son left his blanket in the bed sheets and we didn’t realize till we got home. The staff went up and looked when I called, found it and set it aside for us to pick up. We will definitely stay again! Highly recommend!

This is a nice brand new hotel right across the street from WEM. The rooms are huge and high end. The front staff is lovely no matter who is working. We have stayed here 4 times now and really enjoy it. The underground parking is very appreciated since it's not the best area but the location to everything can't be beat. Although the breakfast is appreciated - the only thing we wish is there wasnt meat in the scrambled eggs. We don't eat meat and there is already meat on the side for people if you wish to have meat as well. Other than that a great place to stay when in Edmonton

Pros : The 3 Queen loft room was nicely updated, loved the 3 bathrooms. Spacious. Clean. Close to West Edm Mall.
Cons: The room was advertised as 3 King beds but was only 3 Queen. False advertising. The heat did not work in one of the rooms so it became very chilly. Baths don't have fans so its a little awkward. The hotel is located in a very busy location and next to a bus station. VERY loud, lighter sleepers will not sleep. Breakfast was pretty unimpressive. No kettle, coffee maker or supplies of any kind in the room. When I told the front desk lady about some of these issues upon checking out, there was no apology, no attempt to make anything right. Will not ever stay here again.

We came all the way for WEM, and I was initially considering booking the JW, but it’s just too far from it. To be honest, I was not so sure about it, but after reading some great reviews about Baymont West Edmonton and seeing how close it is to the mall (just across the street!), I decided to give it a try — and I’m so glad I did! The location couldn’t be more convenient for our trip, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom loft and a 1-bedroom loft, both of which were very spacious and ideal for families traveling with kids. （ and they do have crib/playground!) The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the lady manager, who went above and beyond to assist us. My son absolutely loved her! The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with spotless cafeteria counters and tables. The beds were very comfortable, with soft mattresses and pillows.

The only minor downside was the AC in both rooms, which would sometimes switch to cooling mode on its own, and the key cards, which occasionally stopped working, requiring a reset at the front desk. And It would be great if they could upgrade to a fob system for added security.

Overall, Baymont West Edmonton was a fantastic choice. We’d definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends! Thank you 🙂

This place is amazing. The location is right across the street from West Ed Mall. The rooms were modern and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome. However, the breakfast attendant had mopped by the juice bar and placed the Wet Floor sign where no one on our side could see it. My wife slipped on the wet floor and hurt her hip. The attendant came out and apologized. He told us the sign was up…where we couldn’t see it. He did not once ask her if she was ok. Idiot. I was very livid at his response. I told the front desk and she was apologetic but that’s about it. I’ll definitely skip this place because of that one jerk.

We stayed for 2 nights as a family of 3 in the 2 room suite. The suite was like a self contained apartment, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths & toilets, with nice beds and 3 large screen TVs.

Everything about the place was great value for money and efficient.

West edmanton mall is a 2 minutes walk while there is another strip mall adjacent with some nice restaurants and fast food outlets

Really great rooms, the hotel is brand new. Some minor touchups needed to finish the rooms but nothing significant. Good free breakfast includes eggs and meat on top of a typical continental breakfast, better than many free breakfasts. Good service and amazing location if you’re spending any time at WEM.

Stayed at the Baymont west edmonton right beside west edmonton mall. Stayed for 6 nights. The hotel was very clean and nice. My room was amazing big shower nice flooring great TV & very clean had a big fridge and dishwasher. I reserved the Deluxe King Room. Housekeepers do a wonderful job cleaning the all the rooms and are very nice to talk to and front desk does and wonderful job and are very nice to talk to. Will be coming back again. This will be my main hotel for Edmonton now.
