My daughter has ridden at other barns and she loved the faculties and instruction at Bayview. She finished her first March break camp with them and loved it! Highly recommend.

My daughter participated in Bayview’s March break camp for the first time and she LOVED it!!! We gave done camps before but this was by far the best. The kids were kept occupied all day long learning about horses, riding, playing games and doing activities. How do i know this Well she could not wait to tell me as soon as she got in the car every day about what she did that day.. and the smile on her face made me go home and immediately sign up for the summer camp and lessons!!! Way to go Bayview and looking forward to more fun times!!!

I’ve been riding here for over two years. This barn is such a lovely environment, not only for the horses but the people there as well. The coaches are all amazing people and make you feel so validated and help you with anything you need and give great advice. All of the horses in the lesson program are very talented and willing to work, they all teach you something different. Everyone here is so helpful, kind and compassionate about horses and it’s a lovely barn to be a part of. Definitely recommend to ride here!!

Very disappointing. My daughter started riding here this past year because her other stable went into retirement. From the beginning, it was evident that the owners neglected the lessons aspect of their stable and solely focused on their breeding and tree business. The one instructor (Jackie) was amazing, but she left due to the horrible conditions. There really is no adult guidance and basically it is led by students who ride/board there. The students are well meaning, but by no means qualified. The owner Phil and Jennifer never respond to any emails or phone calls. They only send their monthly invoice for payment. For the 8 months we were there, I never even met or spoke to them. Lastly , the classes are so overloaded with students that it actually has become unsafe and we have found another stable.

This week was my 8 year old daughters first camp at Bayview and we were nothing but impressed. The second we walked through the barn the staff were cheerful , helpful warm and friendly . My daughter had never taken any sort of riding /lessons and is now begging to join Bayview and take regular private lessons . Communication between the owners Phil and Jenny has been amazing . We have always received quick response times and very detailed information regarding the best fit for my daughter as a beginner rider. The structured independence of cleaning the stalls and taking care of the horses are all amazing life skills that teach responsibly and accountability. The staff are always in close proximity if ever questions arise . We feel so blessed to have found Bayview and will confidently refer and encourage this horse farm to others .

While we loved our coach Jackie, the centre is appalling. The horses for riding school are very sickly and old. The tack is very worn and old. The arena is rarely watered (to the point that the instructor has no voice). The viewing area is disgusting and has several dangers. The owner, Phil, likes payment at the beginning of the month, regardless of if he knows the teacher will be away for horse shows
you are still required to pay. Assistant teachers are not interviewed and as a result were verbally abusive to multiple students, but still required payment. This centre should be fined for cruelty to animals.

I have been riding at this facility for over 5 years now. The people there are my second family. Everyone is welcome whether you are just riding for fun or interested in showing in the various circuits. The horses are worth their weight in gold and they have something for everyone whether you are a beginner or an advanced rider. The staff are amazing and their number one priority is always the horses. Everyone is very approachable and willing to help.

The coaches really care and want you to improve yourself as a rider. They tailor your lesson based on where you are at. I have had the pleasure of riding with a few different coaches at Bayview and they all have their own unique teaching styles with different things to offer you. No matter who you end up with you are getting a quality lesson. I get nervous some days and my coach helps me get my confidence and really push past my comfort levels. I always feel safe and I trust in my coaches experience and knowledge.

The property has 2 indoor arenas. A large one and a smaller one; so there is always somewhere to ride if one of the arenas is busy. It also has a large outdoor arena for Spring to Early Fall. The barn is huge and has tons of room even on the more busy nights. We have 2 outdoor wash stalls and 1 indoor. The property is gorgeous and honestly my favourite place on Earth.

I have been given so many opportunities that have helped me grow as a rider and it is thanks to Bayview.

My daughter has been riding at Bayview for a couple of years. She loves it. The instructors are always super helpful and encouraging. My daughter had some experience at other centres and camps, but Bayview took the time and made sure she was able to take care of her horse and not just ride it. She learned how to brush, tack and untack and yes, clean up after her horse while in the cross ties. It’s just good horsemanship. Her hour lessons, included tacking and untacking, with a half hour riding. When the instructors were comfortable with her skill level she got moved to a group lesson, which is a full hour of riding. She has gained so much confidence while at Bayview. It’s a great place.
