Worst drivers ever , on July 4th I take 9 number bus at 11pm with bus number 1068. I showed him my buss pass and then he shouted loudly and called me back.He told me to swipe my card which got expired , I showed him my buss pass of valid date. He showed rude and bad behavior to me as when I talked with him he said loudly to go back and press brakes immediately and he tried to hurt me too. I recommend not to take buses anymore.If someone is reading this please take this seriously. Here are proof of today buss pass tru along with day pass.

So today, Me and my friend were taking number 16 bus at like 7:44pm. I was like 30 seconds late to catch that bus. And my friend was telling the driver to wait for me as I was walking to that bus. He literally pushed my friend and nearly shut the door on her face while she requested him to wait for me. It wasn’t even that long it was just 30 seconds. I was walking my steps carefully because it was all snow there. I literally got inside the bus and said sorry to him. And he replied so rudely saying “what sorry”. I was so pissed and my friend got hurt because of the door. He was super rude to us. I’ve been taking BC transit for 2 years now and this never happened. Every other bus drivers are really good and sweet. They at least wait for us for a minute or so. Today’s experience was horrible. It’s snowing and the road conditions are horrible at least they should understand it.

Pros:
Most Drivers are Friendly
Most drivers departs on time
Rarely super late
Goes to most places in Kamloops
New Community Shuttles as of Dec 2024, 2901 is now in service
18 Mt Paul now has late night service beginning next year on Jan 5th
Cons:
Some Drivers purposefully run late to depart (Maybe due to other busses running very late)
Some Drivers can be rude at times
Barely or no Latenight service for routes 13, 14, and 16
No School Special Routes for Norkam or Valleyview schools
No Service for Ord Road, Schubert or Loren St
No Sun Peaks Bus service, the one we have now is too expensive
Homeless people at exchanges

To the supervisor that was at the landsdowne loop. You need to loose your job after what my family watched last night. You used your vehicle as a weapon and then to start swearing at her. Your a sick man she was just a pedestrian trying to be safe. Try explaining to your young kids when they asked Dad why did that man do that and now he's yelling and swearing at her. Absolutely sickening to watch. Be safe out there fellow riders.

The service received on July 5th was way less than stellar. The #9 had a bus miss coming down around 8pm then at 944pm the #9 going up didn't bother showing up at all. First Canada deserves -10 starts for the service they have for the clients in Kamloops. They have a posted schedule which people go by but apparently means absolutely nothing to First Canada themselves. They don't care about leaving 100lb females sitting outside for greater than an hour waiting for busses that are posted to run every 30 or so minutes.

I'm not happy with how the bus "runs" or lack of it, especially the 6:03am bus, on any given day, the Kamloops transit used to be dependable but now it's not. I would just like to know why we cannot get regular service, they hired new drivers, to fill the routes but we still are wondering,.why so MANY busses pass with no one inside...its so frustrating to have to depend on a service that doesn't function well.

Bus drivers force people off the bus if they refuse to sit next to people, kicked me off for standing when only 2 seats are available on the entire bus, apparently they can't understand social distance 😑
