Great little family resort. Kids had a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

The beach area and floating trampoline and climbers were a huge highlight for the kids.

Stayed in the cabin which was nice and clean upon arrival.

The furniture is the room is dated but it kind of fits the vibe of a cabin.

The one and only downside was the small AC unit did not seem to cool the cabin at all and we were there for a few extremely hot days.

A rustic resort on a gorgeous (and fun) location with friendly staff and great lakeside dinners. The inflatables on the lake provided hours of fun for all. The evening dinners on the patio have plenty of options and we're all delicious--we found the daily specials were especially good. The tennis court and basketball court are in need of some upkeep, but the walks through the resort and quiet roads are a delight. We rented the pontoon boat for for hours and that was also a delight.

warm heated pool & beach area for kids. The restaurant was amazing and the staff were all so friendly and accommodating. It has a rustic vibe but very well kept, clean, and very cozy! First time visiting for a few days and will be back again!

Very nice, clean and friendly place to stay. The rooms were rustic but clean and well kept. The staff were amazing. The food was always wonderfully prepared and so delicious! All of the groups' food allergies and sensitivities were accommodated perfectly. Will definitely be back again. Highly recommend the resort.

We came over by boat and car on August 2nd 2025. There was 9 of us. We had come for lunch. Our bill was over 200.00. It wasn't busy at the beach so after lunch we asked if the two kids with us could enjoy the bounce and slide in the water. We were told it would cost 20.00 per person. We gave them 40.00 more dollars. The kids jumped in enjoying the water. Some of our group left and it was just 4 of us left. Someone approached us and said we needed to leave. We told them we couldn't just leave the kids. They had just started to have fun. They insisted we leave. We were so upset. We had to call the two kids back after only 12 mins in the water. Our son had his wedding at Beachwood, we visit for lunch often and I have lunch with the ladies group in their dining room. We'll no more !!

What a wonderful resort. Old school charm with all the amenities and the best staff. Thank you Grace for you fantastic smile and for putting up with all of us!!! There is everything you need here. Cozy beds, games room, ping pong table, chess board, fabulous restaurant, great gift shop, docks, boat ramp, fires, bbqs, water trampoline, pool...hmmmmm what more do you need? I am ready to go back. It is family owned (third generation) and you just feel that personal attention. The rooms are old time charm, clean and neat. There are lots of spaces you can enjoy to have a quiet read or a lively game of cards. Coffee in the morning watching the great blue heron on the dock was so relaxing! And the restaurant...well I just can't say enough about the food!!! The wood fired pizzas were delicious, the chicken marsala was soooo good, the appies ... delicious and there wasn't a person at our tables that wasn't raving about the attention to detail and the taste of each dish. I will be back for sure!!!!!!!

Mother's Day brunch was spectacular. Delicious fare and attentive staff in a beautiful, waterfront setting made for a memorable outing. Highly recommend!

My family and I have been coming to Beechwood Resort for over 15 years and making lifetime memories with not only the resort , but the staff and the Morgan family . And the food at Frederick’s is top notch !
