I arranged a fishing charter with Beartooth Charter for my sister and her family while they were visiting Powell River. Mitch & Emerson could not have been more professional and amazing with her 4 children. There was lots of room on the boat for the 7 of us, and they put us onto a LOT of fish!!! A great time was had by all and we thoroughly enjoyed it!!! Definitely recommend Beartooth to anyone looking to head out on the water!!!

Wow, what a great time we had on Beartooth Chaters!! First time salmon fishing for my husband, and he loved it!! Mitch made sure we got a good number of salmon. He even let us try jigging.
Thankfully, the boat had an area for my daughters to just hang out cause they didn't want to fish. The girls enjoyed the lounge area! Mitch was professional, patient, easygoing, and very friendly. He even filleted the fish the fish we caught, and we got to feed the scraps to a local seal! Would highly recommend Breatooth Chaters & deffinitly will book again next time we visited Powell river!

My family’s experience with Mitch and his crew of Beartooth Charters was awesome. He was extremely personable and made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable for all of us. It was my children’s (8 and 6) first time fishing and they absolutely loved it, in large part to Mitch’s inclusivity. He knew all the spots for great fishing and was also able to point out where a bunch of Humpbacks were breeching. We caught some gorgeous Coho and Chinook to fill our freezer! 5/5, would recommend, would hire again. If you are in Powell River and want to charter a boat, this is the company and captain for you!

This has been my second trip in 2 years and have had the pleasure of having Beartooth taking me fishing. This year I brought my wife and 11 months old baby and the boat had room for them well I was reeling in fish after fish in. We saw several whales and caught fish after fish. 10/10 recommend this charter
