Quite and serene, a natural walk in the middle of Northside community. Parking is odd, as you must park by the library and walk behind the building to get to the lake. Wheelchair accessible.

Beaumaris Lake is a hidden gem on the north side of the city. My wife and I go walking around the lake just about every weekend, weather permitting. We always bring bird seed to feed the ducks and geese. If you are looking for a beautiful and peaceful walk, I recommend going to Beaumaris Lake. It is about 2.5 km around the lake.

The place is amaziiinggggg for an evening walk. Already went three times inspite of being far from where I stay. I love the birds which are always there and huge walking track around the lake. Good spot for sunsets! Must visit

This is our favorite local family walk. My kids love riding their scooters on the path around the lake, tossing frozen corn to the ducks and sea gulls here. The paths are always clean, no garbage along the green space, and the people are friendly on this walk. What a refreshing green space in this area!

This is my home lake. It's been right out my backdoor for 11+ years of my life. I love being able to step outside my house and see this beauty. Walking,running,biking, and cruisin the electric scooter around it has been the most wonderful. It always feels safe no matter what time it is. 2am runs around the lake are ever so peaceful for me. The neighborhood is familiar and relaxing. I hope it stays this peaceful and serene for many more years to come.

Lovely lake and walking trail- 2.5 km and about 40 minutes to go once around. Lots of different birds and beautiful at sunset. It’s within walking distance for me but if you’re driving park near the EPL/ Sobeys on castle downs and it’s right behind there.

I wish I had this in my backyard! I ditched city living years ago, but came into this area to partake in a little walk with friends. It is a lovely gem. Not as many people as I would have expected. Mind you it was a weekday and a tad under 0 degrees, but I do really hope those living in this area enjoy what this has to offer and take advantage - even in the cooler months. Great place to walk - and run I imagine. I think it's the biggest manmade lake in Edmonton. If you live around or even don't but looking for a nice easy path to stroll around, check it out

Beautiful lake area right in the city! It’s a decent sized lake, close to 3km to walk all the way around. There are tons of different bird species and trees, it’s a pretty area! Very easy to access with a lot of walkways to enter and park around - great to get out and about!
