Diane and Doug, the incredibly kind and friendly folks who manage this campground. They go above and beyond to ensure your safety and comfort, and never have a negative thing to say. The campground is well-maintained with level spots for RVs, a spacious grassy area for tent camping or overnight stays, a horse shoe area, and plenty of space for family gatherings.
The bathrooms are always clean with nice hot showers, and there's a convenient laundrette just down the block. The town and gas station are within walking distance, and the main highway is nearby but the peaceful 50km zone keeps things quiet. It's a lovely place to stay while passing through on your way to Alaska or if you're working in the area. Plus, the prices are fair.

This is a great little campground!! Nicely kept stalls with clean bathrooms and shower. The hosts have been very friendly and helpful. When my dog tangled himself in the sewer hose, husband host offered to go to hardware store and fix it for me while my husband was away working. We just happened to end up with campsite #15 which is fantastic if you have large dogs as it offers space and a little privacy since it's at the end of a loop so neighbors are across the road. Will definitely stay again!!

I stayed here for almost 3 months. The campground hosts are amazing!! So friendly and helpful. It’s clean and well taken care of.

The location is so - so being right beside the highway but everything else was great. I would happily stay here again

Wonderful campground near the highway with helpful, welcoming hosts.

We stayed one night and the hosts were friendly and helpful in accommodating our needs. The campground and facilities (shower/bathrooms) were clean and in good working order. Each site had hookups, picnic table, and place for outdoor cooking. The campground is easy walking distance to grocery and other stores.

Great little nook right here in town!!!
We came so late in the season that the water was off and we were using the washrooms and showering at the town hall. Well...at least they had a well-thought-out plan in mind in order to accommodate the few of us out there braving the near-freezing temperatures. A great little Campground with everything you need and very reasonably priced. I recommend it and will most likely return.

Was a great little campsite! Very clean and friendly staff. The only criticism would be that the firewood, while free was too big to burn if you dont have a chainsaw to cut smaller...which we didnt. But other than that it was a great spot. Would definitely camp here again.

Campground utilities are not well paced and the Camp Reservations Canada system is a hoax

We arrived on Friday with reservations for site 14 made through the Camp Reservations Canada website to find someone already camping in our site. When we located and pointed this out to the host, the inebriated individual perched a top his ride-on mower stated "just take any number". Unfortunately for us that was the site next door that would not allow our size rig with truck parked in the site to be able to reach the electric hook ups. That electrical connection box for both sites is conveniently placed nearer to site 14. Our cord would only reach if we pulled the trailer to the end of the site forcing us to park our truck on the grass along side our trailer. I saw other sites where this was an issue.

Not the kind of accomodations the reservation website would leave you to believe are being made. Infact I was able to make it to the payment page to reserve yet again site 14 which was currently reserved by me and being utilized by another camper.

Clearly the Camp Reservations Canada website is little more than a notepad that charges for a service that technically goes no further then your web browsers cache. At these prices and attention to detail, I'd stay away from the Camp Reservations Canada website and this campground.
