Punches above its weight. This place was an awesome stay. Sahil (sorry if I got your name wrong) was super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. The new decor is fantastic. Every room had a microwave and mini fridge - especially useful during these takeout times. The washroom was awesome - the water pressure and speed to get hot water was amazing - it's honestly better than what I get at my house. Parking was a breeze. The only thing I would say is that, it was too bad the patio doors weren't renovated - there was a bit of moisture on the double paned glass which obstructed our view of the beautiful beach. Some laminate flooring would have also been superb instead of the carpeting. Even with those comments, I would definitely return. Just such a lovely place run by lovely people.

I hope they keep it up and it doesn't go downhill over time. I'm optimistic and keeping my fingers crossed 🙂 thank you all for keeping this place impeccably clean - please give my best to the house keeping team!

Great location and incredible views. Staff are really friendly and a real effort is being made to make this place awesome! Room is spacious and comfortable. New shower is amazing! Couple of details needed to make the room awesome like a side table on each side of the beds and a mirror in the main room so two people can get ready at the same time. Would definitely recommend!

Very clean and newly renovated (under new ownership). The views are impeccable and the staff are so kind and attentive! The washroom has a rain shower and is completely new. The bed is a king size in a spacious room. We had a waterfront king room and the second floor has a beautiful balcony. The other low reviews might have been under the previous ownership and/or before the renovation. I would definitely stay here again.

The location of this hotel is great. Situated right across beachfront and a pier, this is a good place to relax and spend a long weekend if you are in Sechelt. The person at guest services who checked us in was nice and courteous. The rooms are big and spacious and for the most part are clean. The only reason I'm taking one star away is due to the fact that the sofa has holes in it due to cigarette burns. They have plenty of parking available on site so you don't have to worry about parking.

Was skeptical after reading the bad reviews, but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and were greeted with amazing service and a clean newly renovated room with water views. Someone showed us to our room upon arrival and even showed us how to use things, such as the automatic blinds. A/C is adjustable and works very well. This place also allows dogs, which is a big bonus.

I normally don’t write reviews, but thought that this place was a lot better than the reviews led me to believe.

The location is spectacular. Room had many updates and was quite clean, however we found a dirty sock left on the floor and the sliding door was filthy. Also soap and shampoo provided were not single use items but a reusable pump(better for environment but kinds germy) also downstairs was noisy, so I would request an upper floor suite next time.

The location and renos are pretty good. But many cons:
- not sound proof at all. If you stay on lower level, you will hear all the walking of people above. Also our room had a shared door with next unit and could hear through it too.
- patio glass door was so dirty. What's the point of nice view if looking through filthy glass?
- faces quite busy street. The glass door has good sound proofness. But if you open it when folks go to a ferry, very noisy.
- it would take 3-4 minutes in our room for hot tap water to actually become warm. First time jumped in the shower and it was a long cold wait. Later would start shower way in advance before getting in.
- just not worth the price. $100 would be fair, not $250-300
