Stopped into Rookies for dinner one evening and it was fantastic! Our server was prompt and friendly and he made sure we were well looked after. I had a starter soup which was hot and flavourful, but what surprised me most was that it came with a hot biscuit! I don’t think I’ve ever had that included with soup at any other restaurants before! I also had a beef dip and fries which was great, nice and filling. Those fries were the perfect level of crispiness and I’m going to crave them for next while lol.

I highly recommend Rookies! My coworkers and I have been eating here for lunch, while in town doing some work. The food is very good, always super fresh and hot. Our waiter (same guy everytime) has been amazing. 👏 Restaurant and bathrooms have been very clean as well. The owner is a super sweet guy and definitely cares about his community! 10/10 will be back!

Bella Vista is very clean & in a good location. Staff are very kind & accomodating. It's nice that the restaurant is attached to the hotel; don't have to go outside.
Only drawbacks are minimal - a little coffee pot & mugs would've been nice & a list of local restaurants including Rookies that's attached would've been appreciated.
They are pet-friendly with no extra fees for that privilege.
All in all, very pleased with this hotel & staff.

Traveled 3 hrs with a school team on winter roads to arrive and be told that "someone canceled 2 of our 4 rooms" which we obviously did not do! The solution was to cram 5 crappy cots into a meeting room that had an old double pull out couch & put 7 players in one room. One of the cots had dirty sheets. When I asked for clean bedding, the front desk clerk took a mattress cover to the room with no clean sheets. When I told her I wanted sheets also, she gave me one so I had to explain to her that beds have a top & bottom sheet. Then I had to go ask for a room key as they never gave us one. Upon getting into my room just before 11pm I went to hang my coat up in the closet only to see a bar with ZERO hangers. And found out they put our girls' room in between 2 boys teams - all teenagers with no parents. Not very smart people working here. Looking for a USB charger? Ha ha! Room decor is from the 80s to be generous except for the small flat screen TV. Room does have a bar fridge & microwave. That's all that is positive.|Should've driven into Saskatoon instead of staying here. Terrible experience. Be warned!

We were in town for a wedding. Quick and easy check in/out. The location was convenient. Restaurant has lots of variety and affordable pricing. Zaiyan (sorry if it’s spelled wrong) served us supper on our first night, and breakfast before heading home. He even asked us how the wedding went. Very good customer service. We asked Jade, another server, to tell him we enjoyed his service and she was equally as kind and excited about the feedback. The staff seem to work well as a team and that is excellent to see, as a retired server myself. Between the food and the staff, we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

I recently stayed at the Bella Vista Inn and was charmed by its nostalgic appeal. While the dimly lit rooms and decor may evoke a 'grandma's house' vibe, I appreciated the old-fashioned warmth and cleanliness. The beds, though simple, offered soft pillows for a restful sleep. The showers impressed with hot water and excellent pressure.

The location is ideal, making exploration easy. With some modern updates, this inn could shine. For now, its quaint character and affordability make it a hidden gem. If you value comfort, cleanliness, and nostalgia, Bella Vista Inn is a great choice.

First time stay at this place, neat and clean, friendly staff, rooms size is pretty good,reasonable price to stay for couple of night in that location.
Just need to maintain little bit on bed set accessories like(pillow,bedsheet Etc)
